Okay, maybe some of the problems that are exposed in these games are caused by a few coaching decisions by Rudy Tomjanovich. So...which ones are you NOT agreeing with?

I'll start off with two that I've been stressing lately.

    <ul>
[*]Play Bobbit. We got him for a reason...his defense...and we could really use a defensive PG right now.
[*]Walton needs more minutes. He's a great passer...and he'd be able to get Kobe better looks, along with other teammates, if he can just get into the game for longer than a couple of minutes.
    [/list]

Alright...your turn. Mention those decisions during the game...meaning no trades or player transactions.

EL SEGUNDO -- The Los Angeles Lakers have placed guard Tony Bobbitt on the injured list due to a lower back strain and activated guard Sasha Vujacic, it was announced today.

The 6?4? Bobbitt, signed December 6th after originally joining the Lakers during the off-season as an undrafted rookie free agent out of the University of Cincinnati, has yet to play in a regular season contest. Yeah, I know...but he's not hurt. Rudy T just feels like Vujacic should be in before Bobbitt...I guess. [IMG]

Vujacic is no where near ready to see NBA action, that is just one of Rudy's mistakes. Take Bobbitt off of the IL and give him some minutes, he is better than brown IMO. His sub patterns are weird, but IM glad he isnt giving Slava minutes.

They need to get Odom more involved, they should try get him the ball on almost every possesion to see if he can create a play or score if he's open. He is one of the best players on the team and he is used to creating plays for others.

getting odom involved more would be a smart move by rudy t. and give bobbit some minutes to se what he's capable of. tierre creates too many turnovers, i dont know why rudy t is playing him. i expected a lot from rudy t but right now he's not making any smart decisions...

At the moment he has made some bad decisions. Actually i dont know what to add more. The things said above are correct but what can we do about it?

He needs to see it and change some things.

I think the Lakers bench is pretty good, and if several players from the bench gets hot he will only play them and the starters, and wont try the other bench players out. Even if he does play one of those guys, like Walton, he will put them back on the bench for making the tinyest mistake anyway.

he wears kobe out too much, kobe shouldn't be the main playmaker he should be the main scorer, and right his fg percentage really sucks

    Kobe is the main scorer/option.

How about instead of getting all these young PG's, get a veteran guy who knows how to play and how to run an offense. Darrell Armstrong would be a big help for the team, but also play Odom as a point forward a lot more, but I guess the team doesn't want to go in that direction.

Also maybe Walton isn't playing for other reasons, defensive reasons maybe, or maybe even though he has the passing he doesn't have some things the coach would like to see on the floor, but I do agree that Walton should play more.

Look at Brunson on the Clippers, he definately isn't talented, but he makes the right decisions, runs the offense, and that's all, he takes shots when they're there, doesn't force the drive, he sucks, but he's a guy that can give you 15-20 minutes at the points and do decent.

A guy like Keith Mcleod could even fit the bill, but the team needs experience at the point as does every team really..
