Of course, that's absurd, considering Isiah left him unprotected in the expansion draft in June. Toronto is not interested and it's unlikely any team is because of the $58 million left on his contract combined with the health risk.

"There's been talk about trading Allan Houston," Isiah said. "That's not going to happen."

When asked is if it's because nobody wants his contract, Isiah said, "I like him. I want to see our team have a chance to play with him." </div>

Well atleast Isiah Thomas says he wont trade Allan Houston but, we really do not know. And he says he likes him. To be perfectly honest I think that is Isiah's way of wanting Allan Houston to relax and play his game, so the Raptors or some other team can take him. I highly doubt no team will take him because of that contract and his knees. I said this before and I say it again: Isiah Thomas will be very idiotic to trade Houston.

Wow Isiah is not trading Allan Houston? Tell me something I don't know. What is even worse about this story is that he claims that it is HIS choice not to trade him, not Toronto's. Let's just be done with the theatrics okay? NO ONE wants Allan Houston. End of story.

That's interesting considering the Knicks are going to make the Eastern Conference Finals because of Houston. What's even more interesting about that statement is that the best offer the Raptors ever got for Vince Carter was for Allan Houston.

lol, Houston has a terrible contract that Toronto would be stupid to trade for.

Anyway, Portland wanted to deal Carter and Rose for Derek Anderson and Reef + some1 else. Portland was interested, but either Toronto didn't like the trade enough or Vince getting injured made Portland decide to hold off.

BTW, if Houston is "no longer" on the trading block, then what type of trade for VC could go through?

Hopefully no trade for Carter will take place. Carter for Houston is not a good fit for NY in my honest oppinion. Allan Houstons great shooting is what will propel the Knicks to greatness. Carter isn't at H2O's level yet on shooting and we have seen enough of Anderson, and Crawford's shooting. We need our great shooting. Btw, I am happy to see your very first post in the Knicks forum. I hope to see more of them [IMG]

That article is misleading. The only reason H20 was left unprotected is because even an expansion team wouldn't want his contract. He doesn't really earn his money, especially considering some of the other players in his price range.

they will not make the eastern conference finals. They are not one of the top 4 teams in the east...even on paper let alone an actual basketball court. You're putting to much pressure on them i think. Its good to be optomistic and support your team but claims like that are only for the elite teams...the next level teams. Washington shouldnt make that claim, niether should orlando, and certainly the Knicks shouldnt.

Predicition: First round nock out of knicks in 5 games.

I didn't post this article for one reason: Isiah Thomas offered Allan Houston to Toronto, they said no. Then Isiah said he won't trade Houston to keep his morale up.

This article just spits out what Isiah does, I haven't liked that voice recently and I hope my fellow Knicks fans aren't that fond of it either.
