http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/powerranking...son=2005&week=6 Finally, despite with the Boston loss. I can die a happy man, even if we don't stay there.
Mark Stein goes from putting Seattle 28th to 1st. Amazing how his mind works in the space of a couple of months.
Marc Stein thinks they're going to go on a losing streak after the loss to Boston. Once they do, he'll be able to say he was right. I firmly believe this.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"Here's another way to break it down: Sonics are indeed 0-2 against Boston ... but also 2-0 against San Antonio. You can guess which resonates most with the committee."</div> That's a great quote. I'll lose to Boston every time we play them in the regular season if it means we'll have a winning record versus San Antonio. No one says, "San Antonio lost to Seattle twice, they're bound to go on a losing streak now." It should be the same for the Sonics and Boston.
I remember a couple of years ago, we swept the lakers 4-0 during the regular season and still didn't make the playoffs. I'd take every win right now, no matter if it's against boston, charlotte , and new orleans or or against san antonio, detroit, and minnesota.
