In a related move, the team also activated guard Luis Flores from the injured list.
Fisher has averaged 9.6 points, 2.1 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 24.4 minutes per contest in 19 games this season, including three starts. The ninth-year guard, who signed with the Warriors as a free agent on July 16, 2004, currently ranks 15th in the NBA in free throw percentage (.895) and 19th in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.12). He scored a season-high 23 points at Dallas on November 8, marking his first 20-plus point effort since April 6, 2003 versus Phoenix, while a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

All right, Christmas came early [IMG] I think our assists and field goal percentage will finally go up now.

At least the pain of someone gave joy to another. I guess that this will satisfy all of the people who have been hoping for Pietrus to get some more minutes.

Damn straight! No more watching Fisher (before he passes to anyone else) dribble to the left of the key, shoot from 20 feet out, miss it badly off the rim, then get smoked in transition going the other way. C'mon Fisher, learn from Dunleavy: the cure for the awful J is to drive and take it in closer, get fouled or pass the friggin ball! I mean at his rate the upcoming holiday savings will have higher percentages than his field goal stats.

In the Charlotte game Pietrus was the first to get off the bench. Now that he's gotten more minutes and you can see he is not ready to start. He seems totally lost on offense and as his shot selection is not hot. It's either the three or drive and he hasn't been driving as much. The thing I love about him is that he is such a hard worker and will get a lot better. Who knows, in 2 years we could be trading JRich to give this kid starting minutes. He could also be nothing more than an athletic player who can defend.

I think Pietrus is the guy you definitely need to get others motivated to play defense so he needs to be out there. The same reason why Dunleavy needs to be in there to handle the ball and pass.

Pietrus will get more time since our backup Pg now is Dunleavy. This will be a good oprotunity to Pietrus to prove himself both to the front office and the coaches
