Sorry no time for a preview for tonight's game, will just have to put up with this one.

The Detroit Pistons hope to avoid losing a third straight game for the first time this season when they visit the New York Knicks on Wednesday.

The Pistons have lost back-to-back games three times this season and have averaged 70 points in consecutive defeats to Atlanta and Memphis.

Last season, Detroit won three of four meetings with New York, splitting two at Madison Square Garden.

Mcdyess is expected to return tonight after missing the last 3 games and I'm sure will want to prove a point to Isiah. It's time the Pistons actually got their act togeather and stop messing around.

Rip Hamilton was being interviewed and he basically said that Chauncey should be playing a lot better and with all the injuries it's been hard for the team and now that everyone's back they're looking to go on a roll and win more.

This should be a good game. I think Marbury is gonna dish out 9 dimes. I think the Pistons will win this one though but shouldn't be overconfident or the Knicks will pull the upset.

The Knicks are as two faced a team as there is in the NBA you never know which Knicks team you will face the good one or the sorry one. In today's game they have a hell of a lot of momentum riding on this game. the Knicks beat the Nuggets, but have not performed nearly up to the level they where expected to this year. Luckly for them, nor has any other Atlantic division team, but the Sixers are heating up with 3 straight wins, and are right there to take the lead in the division if the Knicks start stumbling (which is quite sad since there 4 games under .500). The only hope I see for the Knciks to try and make the playoffs this year is to win the division they can go from a possible third seed to 8th seed or out of the playoffs if they do not win the division this season.

I know it is early, but they do not want to lose the lead in the divison right now going into X-mas and NY they want to have something to cheer about. I think that this game will be the game where Billups returns to his NBA Finals MVP status at least for one night I think Hamilton's words will inspire him to perform better tonight, and playing against NY it is a very good chance for him to show he is a elite point guard against argueably the top point guard in the conference as of this point.

I think that Prince will won his matchup with his length all game and frustrate TT into the point of forcing him to do stupid stuff like pick up dumb fouls and technicals. Big Ben will have his hands full with Nazr he has been playing very well this season so he should not be under estimated. I hope the Pistons win this one because it will help the SIxers. I am not going to make a prediction though since it is such a close game to call.

God damn this team really does frustrate me sometimes, they keep slacking off on the defensively end and never play hard for the full 48 minutes. They played a great 2nd half and outscored the Knicks 54-37 and really clamped down on the Knicks inside. Marbury caused alot of trouble in the 2nd half though and was the only guy who we had a tough time guarding. Crawford hit some nice shots but overall in that 2nd half his shot selection was really poor, that shot near the end was a good example and cost his team the game. Pistons badly needed this win, couldn't afford to drop under 500. Got the Cavs tomorrow at the palace and I'm hoping for a full 48 minutes worth of defense, not 24 minutes worth. If they do that then it should be another win.

man the pistons should easily win these teams they've been playin this season, like the bucks, hawks, bobcats, lakers, grizzlies, cavs, utah, toronto and nuggets. these are all teams that we should easily beat but they just kept slackin around so they lost(except the games were they missed big ben, billups and brown)
