If it is all about the dunks then why hasn't J-Rich made the ASG. Right now he is the best dunker on the planet. This season he is averaging 19 pts 6 rbs and 3 ast. That's not bad. I think the reason Carter con't to be popular is because of a lack of exposure in the U.S because he plays in Canada. All that the U.S sees are the highlights on ESPN and the occasional game which he gets up for and lights up for 30 pts. If the Raptors had more U.S exposure, I doubt he would make the all star game. It would be interesting to see Canadian voting. I would not surprise me that VC is at an all time low.
Who knows, it's probably little 10-13 year old boys that don't know basketball and vote for the names they know. Vince Carter is more famous than say Jamison, so that's why the little kids would vote for him, not the people who know alot about basketball...

Raptors games aren't shown on U.S channels... so they don't know how boring the games are. Vince barely gets any highlights anymore either, it's frustrating... he shouldn't even make the allstar team... starting for the team is just insane. He doesn't deserve it at all. This year is getting just as bad, seeing as he's already missed so many games, and is on the IR right now.
