You guys are right. Our team isn't built with the right pieces. They're skills don't complement each other at all.

I wish we had a team like the suns.

^We'd need a new GM and ownership for that to happen.

The suns got lucky because the offseason couldn't have gone so well and then they'd be stuck with the team they had the year before minus Starbury, but don't be suprised if they have an early exit out of the playoffs because of the lackluster defense. I just don't see any real balanced attack in their offense outside of nash as the sole focal point or what they would do if let's say Nash goes down or the full regular season just wears down on their constant running style. Knees could be hurting by then. Nash is what I think makes the team so successful because he's the whole package in a point guard. He shoots a high percentage from everywhere, he makes fastbreaks converted into easy points, his passing skills are dead on for cutters going in for easy dunks, he's tall, fast and he handles the ball well. Plus you have several guards that can handle the ball and see the floor well. Like one of which (who I was always high on) was players like Joe Johnson even before he got traded from the Celtics. With him in the lineup it adds more shooting, athleticism and court vision and another guy that can handle the ball. It was a good move. We need to have the same good judge of talent in the front office to go after guys like that if Dunleavy is not cutting it as a starter in the nba. Mullin's judge of talent is a little bit iffy, but I like his Biedrens pick. He'll probably be money. I dunno, I've got a good feeling about him in a few years. If all goes well he'll even get at least 70% from the foul line and you won't recognize him with all the additional pounds of muscle. Think trades and draft picks. It's the only way to get out of neverending mediocrity.
