I personally think this is b.s... How is peopel like Vince and Iverson getting more votes than Wade. Wade is more exciting then them, plus is overall much better than all the guards in the East besides Bron... dumb fans.. P.S Amare behind Melo in voting??? C'mon.
Even if Wade doesn't get voted by the people to start he's practically a lock for the reserve spot considering he's a coaches pet. Larry Brown fell in love with him in the Olympics and if you can get on LB's good side you can get on any coaches good side.
I know that he can make the reserve spot easy, but my point is that he should be starting. That's the type of year he's having...
Oh hell ya, he's the best guard on that list besides LeBron and Francis right after Wade. But in truth a lot of people were talking about how stupid it is to have LBJ as a guard when he's been playing the SF spot practically the entire season.

But as far as excitement goes, you can put him over Carter because Carter just doesn?t come to play anymore (but then again when it comes to the All-Star game who knows what you will expect from Carter? Last year his performance wasn't too shabby so it's pretty reasonable why he got more votes). However labeling Wade as more exciting than Iverson is a little farfetched IMO. Don't think I'm being biased about this because Iverson is my favorite player. And just for the record, I think Wade should start over Iverson. But my point is that the fans vote for the most exciting and partially better players, but the excitement factor is what gets majority of the votes. And as far as excitement goes, Iverson should be over Wade. Then there is the overall skill level, and yet again Iverson should be placed over Wade. But then there is the most deserving, and that?s when I would take Wade over Iverson because Wade he been exceptional thus far. But on the brighter side, as mentioned Wade is pretty much lock for a reserve roll. And with all the great talent that's going to be on the All-Star team the minutes between the starters and benched may be shared equally. Well that's what happened in last year?s game at least.

If Wade can have some spectacular performances on some of the upcoming national TV games, he has a good chance at getting enough votes to start.
