damn, I was just about to make this thread but you beat me to it...

I actually like this deal. We don't get a star on the level as Vince in return but this solves our front court woes and will help Bosh develop into the type of player we've been hoping for. The 2 first round draft picks will definitely help us out in the future. If we can't get Magloire, I say Babcock should jump on this one.

the shareef trade keeps looking better and better

i hate this trade. although i like aaron williams, alonzo still has too long and too much money left on his contract. he's still a huge question health wise, and it would just be another "hakeem deal". he could retire in a week and we'd be stuck with his contract

eric williams is alright i guess....i can think of 100 utility guys id rather have

this is just disgracefull...god i dont want this to happen. i want vince out of here as bad as anyone....but not this bad

Chad Ford was just on the Chuck Swirsky Show, and the last question asked by Chuck was "Do you think this deal will go down?", Chad said he was confident that it would go down. [IMG]

Wow. I feel sorry for you guys. I think it was good for New Jersey but, not Toronto. This will fire everything up between the Nets and Knicks. It will be a great Atlantic rivalry. You guys do have the future in the draft though...

Why are people angry, this is great, toughness inside, a savy vet like Eric Williams, and 2 FIRST ROUND PICKS.
I'll be happier if they added a future second round pick also, people underatte second round picks.

I heard they would've given Jefferson if we added Milt, but we declined.

omfg...with this deal made, Babcock must trade away marshall and rose...Marshall won't come back for sure. Make the deal with the Heat...We get Eddie Jones and Dorrell Wright and a scrub to waive for Marshall and Rose.

We also need to waive/release another player, to make this deal work (Moiso anyone?).

I wish Grunwald was still our GM. Sure we get toughness and all, but when it comes down to it, we get no one good enough to make this team a solid contender. Who are we going to build this team around, Rose and Bosh? We better just throw the season, or make more trades.

Well it's not that good on paper either because I see Jalen Rose's name, if we could've somehow gotten rid of Jalen I would've been happy.

HAHA Carter in a Nets uniform that's classic, Kidd-Carter-Jefferson, interesting

im not sure if i like it or not...

zo, with one kidney is better than woods/araujo...
babcock probably gonna package zo/jalen at deadline to a contender for something else later on...

the 2 1st rounders is the key...with the raps recent history of draft choices...its not looking good....

    Radojevic???
    Bradley instead of Zach Randolph???

Im still a fan though...i was sick of Wince....
