The Nets will gain a lot of money, and they can go to the playoff, but i don't they can going too far.
yeh i almost forgot in all my excitement due to the carte trade. I almost forgot that carter has hella tendinitus problems which is why other teams dropped from trying to obtain carter. It will be really interesting to see how carter plays with a good pg. And if his rumored bad work ethics will disappeer and Carter will finally play up too his potential. lastly i hope carter takes back his statement declaring that dunking is overrated now, now that he on the team with kidd the alley ooper. again i must state it will be very interesting to see carter in a nets uni. Hopefully he can get over his tendinitus problems.

It's actually saddening for me to see Carter go. Believe it or not, he was one of the reasons I fell in love with basketball as much as I did. I remember seeing him play in 99 and knew we finally had something special in our hands. But, as time drifted, critiscm and doubt filled all our minds. But nonethless, I got all the memories on tape. The times when Carter literally had the NBA and North America in his palms. The days when bashing Carter would get you a bashing yourself. The days when Carter was considered better or just as good as Tracy, Kobe. The days when he was considered by many as the best shooting guard in the league. So, I bid Vince farewell, I'll always remember him for the memories he gave me in his first 3 years in Toronto. The last 3 and a half years haven't been as pleasant but they are still worth mentioning. What Carter did for Canada and basketball popularity here won't be replaced for some time to come. I personally will miss him for what he did but in a way, I'm glad to see him go. This drama is behind us and we can start playing basketball with a stronger inside presence now and it's time for the Chris Bosh show to evolve... Meanwhile, Vince has a GREAT chance to rejuvinate his career, next to Jason Kidd. I smell a comeback. Good luck Vince.
VInce Carter, Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson?! That's quite a trio. They lost Train, E-Will and ZO plus the two first rounders they got from Denver. I don't like losing the two first rounders but it's time for Kidd to start lobbing those alley oops again and for VInce to start flying. Plus now they have someone who can knock down the open jumper. Provided that the two are healthy, they'll be back in the postseason.
Damn, Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, and Richard Jefferson. Kidd has to very happy now that he has a high flyer in town. At 7-15, do you guys think the Nets will make a huge turnaround?

Even Slam said it.<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Magloire grew up in Toronto, in the city where they play ball until thier fingernails shatter.</div>Ish 83 page 124
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Magloire grew up in Toronto, in the city where they play ball until thier fingernails shatter. </div> I hate the whole persona that Americans have the Canadians don't ball that much. Have you ever been to a suburb of Toronto? You see more people playing basketball then hockey. Hockey is immensly popular here with (both grown ups and teens) but in the suburbs here, teens love basketball more then hockey. It's the grownups who perfer hockey over basketball.
yeah^ so Toronto will not lose its team, also its owners are MLSE and trust me they are rich, they own the Leafs... lol
Toronto wont die... but they wont be a decent team for prob a few years. and I dont think the Nets will win the atlantic or maybe even make the playoffs. If so, an 8th seed maybe. If I were Kidd I would want a trade still.
