Yes, I know your angry that NYK came back from a 19 point deficit but please stop before you post 'hateful' terms about the 76ers. We here on this Sixers forum are trying to get more supporters and your comments are not helping. So let's stop the hate and cheer on our team. We are a playoff team without a doubt and we WILL be in the playoffs. The best we can do as supporters is to support, and saying hateful terms does not help. THANKS!

There shouldn't be anyone using hateful terms, really. The Sixers blew the lead...it happens. The Knicks got hot (actually, Houston got hot), so all the Sixer fans can do is look forward to the next game.

No reason for anyone, including Sixer fans, to hate on Philadelphia...because the team is experimenting with their lineup, it's only 20 games or so into the season, and above all...the team isn't underachieving (maybe some individual performances, though).

Overall, if the Sixers and, in my opinion, Jim O'Brien, can get back on the right track, they can close in on the Knicks soon and start to worry about the Nets...that is, if Kidd/Carter/RJ will even work out.

Sixers blow a 19pt lead at home. Sixers get blown out by 30pts at home. Why shouldn't I be upset?

The Knicks blew a 16 point lead and got blown out at home by 34 to the Celtics. Atleast Philadelphia got blown out by a championship contender we got blown out by a real mediocre team. You can definitely be upset zEx69 just doesn't want you to say hateful words.

It's hard not to be negative If your team blowns a near 20 point lead at home, certainly against a team no one considers elite.

So? The Denver Nuggets blew a huge lead too, no one complained about that on their forums.

Yeah...but see, there's a difference between being upset at the Sixers and hating them for what happened.

That ebcause there are only like two die hard nuggets fans that I could think of on this board. Anyway I agree with you I do not know if we are a playoff team depnds what night it is you never know which team will come out of the locker room. Unless we improve our lineup and get a set starting lineup and leran to play with a lead we are not a playoff team. Here are my thoughts that I posted before on last nights game....

Very nice game although we did lose I felt we where the better team tonight for most of the game. I dont know what it is, but how do you blow such a huge lead something has to be wrong with this team. They get to chocky or something they do not know how to play with a lead.

Overall it was a good game through the first 3 quarters and msot of the foruth, but then we broke down. I new something bad was going to happen when they cut our huge lead under double digits. Thats how the ball bounces though I guess, but I am pissed!

We beat the Knicks in practically every aspect of the game tonight rebounds 47-46, Assists pretty close 22-20, and forced them into 27 fouls more than what we had this game. We also had a better shooting percentage then them for mst of this game 43-91 while the Knicks shot 37-88 heating up to the end. Another player who had a very impressive night was KT he scored 26 points on 10-15 shooting by the way he also scored a season high on field goals made.

I am very happy on how we performed against TT who had a couple good games against us since joining the Knicks holding him to 9 points not even getting to double digits and only 3 rebounds that is pretty sad for a guy with his size when AI out rebounds him.

Nazr Mohammed really did not perform well tonight he only attempted 5 shots was 2-5 with 7 points 5 rebounds which sucks for me since I have him on my fantasy team. He was one of the biggest down sides for the Knicks tonight.

How about this we had 5 guys score double digits and although we lose this game we where getting pretty good ball movement. AI nearly had a triple double and out rebounded TT. We also had our big three out score there big three.

One of the good surprises from the Sixers tonight was Green good shooting 6-14 conisdering he only shot 37 percent form the field this season shooting close to 50% tonight was a confidence lifter. KK had a pretty bad game 3-11 shooting 0-6 form the arc again showing how he really is one of the most inconstistant players on this team he finished with a total of 4 points his bad game tongiht may have cleared the way for Green and put KK in the dog house since Green got 35 minutes and KK got 17.

Overall good game there where plenty of positives and plent of negatives. like our lose first of all which over shadows every thing, but also our inability to play with a lead I hate it I honestly felt we where the better team tonight in the end though we just choked.

Im not trippin http://www.nba.com/standings/team_record_c...ew_Std_Div.html if the playoffs started today the Sixers would not make it. I am a Sixers fan, but dont let that fact blind me from the truth that they might very well miss the playoffs. If they where in any division other than the Atlantic the best they could do right now is hope for a 8th seed. Sinc ethe division is so weak they could very well make the playoffs with home court advantage.

Im going to say it right now there is really no great team in the Atlantic division there decent at best. The team that leads the division is either one game over .500 at .500 or under .500. Thats how it was last year for most of the season until the Nets picked up there game and won the division. We have no set starting lineup, and that is something I believe we need in order to go into the playoffs and make a run. In the playoffs you play every other night how are you gona continue to switch your lineup in such a short period, and expect the players to be focused.

Most of the time when I make a statement I try to be as un fan bias as I can. Though I hope we make the playoffs, and think we can make the playoffs with a 8th seed or 3rd seed depending who wins the division. I am not going to deny the fact that we are no lock to make the playoffs the way we are playing we need to seriously step it up to make the playoffs as of this point.
