RB Willis McGahee didn't attend all of the voluntary organized team activities, but he showed enough to get the team excited about what he might do this season. Now more than two years removed from a major knee injury, McGahee is bigger, stronger and a step faster than he was last season when he ran for 1,128 yards and 13 TDs in just 11 starts. He has more confidence when making cuts and plays without thinking about his left knee. McGahee ran with power and patience last season while working to regain the explosive breakaway speed and acceleration he possessed before his injury. The team believes McGahee is ready to assume a place among the elite running backs in the NFL. . . .

The team is counting on LS Jon Dorenbos recovering from knee surgery and regaining the form that made him one of the league's better long snappers. He has good velocity on his snaps and showed improved accuracy during his first two seasons. If Dorenbos does not bounce back, he could be replaced by Mike Gomez, who held that job for two years at Illinois. Gomez also plays tight end, catching 26 passes for Amsterdam in NFL Europe this spring.

This will mean problems for AFC East D coordinators.

    And I can't wait.

I think he only gets better. As he regains confidence to run on the reconstructed knee, he'll only get better. I'm curious to see how he responds now two years removed.

By the way, why do you have to have a picture of Ike Taylor getting jammed? [IMG]

It's going to be intresting to see how JP Losman plays. I think the Bills are a playoff team but throwing in a un experienced player is going to make things tough.

if it's any consolation, JP looked REALLY good in preseason last year - i know it's not the greatest way to measure whether or not a player will pan out - seeing him play against 2nd and 3rd stringers, but he did what he was supposed to do and that was play smart and make plays.

I have faith in JP. I think he will turn out maybe even better than Eli and Big Ben. I wish the Packers would of got a shot at taken him but we got Rodgers so I'm happy. If the Bills were in the NFC they would be a playoff team no doubt but the AFC is tough and their defense and Willis is going to have to lead the way.

i think our d and willis are up to it.

losman will have no shortage of weapons besides McGahee, we've got Moulds, Evans, Parrish, a couple of solid TEs and maybe we'll even get Kevin Everett back by week 10 but I don't know how much he'll contribute if any in the duration of the season that he might be able to play.

Judging by the title of this thread, one might get the impression that McGahee is the bionic man or something.

Don't tell Alan Greenspan but I think inflation has affected the economics of sports. LOL.

Mad? Why? Why would Willis be a thorn in my side?

I am a fan of the University of Utah as well as Auburn.

The only former Cane that concerns me is Brock Berlin.

Brock Berlin. Why?? Nothing to worry about. Willis Maghee might be my fav runningback. I am after all a huge Miami and Texas fan.

McGahee is gonna put up monster numbers this year becasuse Losman is gonna struggle, and McGahee will carry the offense. He might lead the league in carries next year because coachs with rookie Qbs want their QBs to take as little attempts as possible. So McGahee will get tons of carries next year. Ben Roethsberger was so good because he had that great running game and he only threw the ball like 25 times a game
