It's true. You can see he has Hall of Fame pitching mechanics as well, even though he nearly got disqualified for his choice of baseballs. This one didn't exactly match league regulations.

Shouldn't Dan have joined a team famous for pitching- the Braves?

Is this a bad time to mention I'm a Braves fan?

It's a fastball because you can't fake a spike in baseball.

I assume that you want me to elaborate on the MLB draft thing....In 1979 the Kansas City Royals drafted 2 Hall of Fame QB's....the 1st a High School Pitcher from Pittsburgh named Dan Marino....he was the 99th player selected and was selected in the 4th round....the2nd was a High School 3rd Baseman named John Elway....he was the 463rd player selected and picked in the 18th round....neither signed with the Royals, deciding to go to college and play football....Elway was drafted again, this time by the New York Yankees in 1981....he was the 52nd player in that draft, being taken in the 2nd round....Elway used the threat of signing with the Yankees to leverage his way out of Baltimore and into Denver....
