AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Darius Miles and the Portland Trail Blazers can give some of the credit for their win over the Pistons to Detroit coach Larry Brown.

With 0.5 seconds left, Miles converted a free throw to give the Trail Blazers a 75-74 win over the Pistons.

Chauncey Billups tied the game with a 3-pointer with 7.8 seconds left, but Ben Wallace was called for a foul after colliding with Miles, who was driving to the basket.</div>

    Recap

Don't get me wrong, Miles was fouled but I can't believe someone would call a foul with 0.5 seconds left. Just very unlucky for that to happen. With that said the Pistons played horrible ONCE AGAIN and shot so badly. Rip Hamilton 3-22? Billups 5-15 Sheed Wallace 7-19? how sad. Dumars really needs to make a trade to bring in another scorer and badly. They are playing so inconsistant right now and It is becoming very frustrating losing to teams they shouldn't be.

I'm not shocked about Rasheed's FG% as much as I am by Chauncey and Rip. These guys are the main offensive threats for the Pistons and usually shoot good percentages. Even then you got to admit, even after shooting so poorly, losing by 1pt ain't all that bad. It could've been worse.

I agree that they aren't playing at the level they need to be but if I remember correctly, at around this time last year, even though they did make a run sometime, the Pistons were off the radar in the East because they just weren't doing it. I am frustrated like a lot of fans but worried? I am not. As for the Blazers game, I was there and it was pretty exciting for the 4th quarter but it is just stupid that they are down by that much to begin the 4th! They lost by 1 so it is encouraging that Chauncey and Rip played so poorly and still were close at the end. The thing that worries me is that they don't seem to play 48 minutes. It seemed that all of a sudden they realized they needed to play and they did. They need to start playing all 48 minutes to win these games!
