<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">When watching Magic PG Steve Francis, keep in mind this simple scouting report from Warriors analyst Jim Barnett: When Francis puts the ball on the floor and goes right, he is going to drive; if he dribbles left, he will pull up for a jumper. It's almost always true. . . .</div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylc=X3oD...v=tsn&type=lgns Is this true? I rarely see Francis play. It's amazing that teams' analysts (I believe not only this Warrior guy knows it) have known for a long time about his game, yet they can't stop him. But I understand, being a right-handed ball player myself, it's always nice to pull up for a jumper when you penetrate to the left. It feels really awkward and not as fluid if I do it with my right hand... because I feel like I want to keep going to the hole.
um it dont matter what them ppl say francis is a good player and he does things right coz we win so stfu to that guy and his comment stfu Jim Barnett
Welll... it's not only him knowing it muzza... it's alot of analysts, he just expressed his observations... so would he really have to stfu for analysing The Franchise and knowing what he's goign to do. Is that a diss or something? I mean it's not like they can stop him anyway.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting MuZzA_MaGiC FaN:</div><div class="quote_post">um it dont matter what them ppl say francis is a good player and he does things right coz we win so stfu to that guy and his comment stfu Jim Barnett</div> Overreacting much? I don't think that Jim Barnett was bashing Francis, only pointing out an observation he made. I did not read anything that said Francis was a bad player. The guy does this kind of thing for a living. It's like saying Vince Carter relies too much on his jumpshot instead of using his leaping ability, an observation about someone's game. And I'm not sure telling someone to "stfu" will do any good.
That's why it's called a scouting report. It describes the way a person plays in certain situations. We all have our little 'quirks' or 'typical plays'. It's a testament to Steve-O that he can be scouted like this and still control the offense the way he does.
