Why is it that, last year when we needed a back-up Point, Darrick was torching the CBA, but when he came here, he looked like a frightened schoolgirl on stage for the first time. Now, he's averaging 17 pts. again. I know the NBA is better, but he didn't even seem like he knew the game. Just a retro question.

The NBA is a lot better then the CBA. He probably was nervous too, maybe his last chance to prove himself in the NBA, playing for a championship contender, backup to All-Star Sam Cassell, temporary replacement of former 6th man of the year Troy Hudson. A lot of pressure on him.

Besides his lack of scoring, he really didn't do that bad for us. The Wolves only really needed someone to run the offense and he did that about as well as could be expected.

I agree with KG is the MVP, his shot selection wasnt the best as he launched alot of perimeter shots. But other than that I think he did a solid job given the circumstances. And in the Playoffs when Cassell went down, he stepped up & filled in some of those minutes in the Laker's series. Anyway, the player that surprised me was Kieth Mcleod, he really look scared last year when the Wolves brought him in as a 10-day. But then this year, he played really well for the Jazz as the replacement for Carlos Arroyo. The Jazz actually probably played better with him at point then they are right now with Arroyo.

I just remember the fact that the players had to constantly console him. And he seemed to be a liability on offense. I guess the team could have called his number and run plays (for him to drive) for him. Not like I hate him.

I didn't think Martin was that bad last year. He did the best he could and the coaches seem satisfied with his performance. I will always remember him for the way he played Game 2 against the Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. What you saw out of Martin is what you got. I did not expect him to do big things. Whatever he did, I was happy.
