Sacramento(16-7)host the Washington Wizards(14-9)in tonights game at Arco arena.

The Wizards,have a really great team this year,breaking out into their franchise high record start,with former Warrior stars.Antiaun Jaminson,Gilbert Arenas,and Larry Hughes.simply put...Washington has been a force in the Alantic's Southeast division.

The Kings,as i think everybody knows here,must put on a great effort with their Defense,since Washington in a majority of their games this season,have scored in the triple digits,so this is a huge task for the Kings to do..so we must have a great effort from our guys to do so.

I'll go with the Kings as the winners in this game.it will be a close game.

Kings 101 Wizards 100

<font size="5">Keys to the Game</font>
<font color="navy">Washington:</font>
<ul>
[*]Help the Big 3- Last night was the first game someone other than Arenas, Hughes, and/or Jamison scored 10+ in a game since Kwame Brown did it against the Heat 6 games ago. Peeler chipped in 10 and that was a huge lift for us, tonight we are going to need more production from Haywood, Peeler, and Kwame if we want to beat this team.
[*]Stop Penetration- The Wizards allowed easy penetration last night. We can not allow this Kings team to do that because they can easily kick it out for the 3 by Peja. Doug Christie can knock down the 3, penetration is a big no no in this one.
[*]Efficieny- Antawn Jamison has been producing for us, but has not been efficient shooting the ball. He is shooting a career low 44%, which isn't that bad, but is horrible when compared to last year's 53%. To beat the Kings we need him to shoot 50%, to grab boards, and just be efficient. He is quicker than Chris Webber, not stronger.
<font color="purple"> Sacramento:</font>
<ul>
[*]Box Out- Last night, Wizard's forward Michael Ruffin killed Golden State on the boards. Grabbing 12 off of the bench. The Kings can't allow second chance opportunities to the new look Wizards because they have been capitalizing on that all year.
[*]Webber-Chris Webber should have a huge game if Antawn Jamison is on him all night. Jamison's D is below average and Chris Webber has a very efficient offensive game. If Lamar Odom can take it to Jamison, there is no reason why Chris Webber can't.
[*]Bench- This King's bench is average compared to their bench of the past couple of years. Bobby Jackson is averaging 12.3 ppg. But other than him, No other King averages over 7 off of the bench.
<font size="5"> Prediction</font>
The Wizards are a much improved team this year, but they are coming off of a close win against Golden State last night. Their legs are going to be tired, I do not see them beating the Kings. Sac wins this one 105-98

NOTE: Washington has not won in Los Angeles against the Lakers and in Sacramento in the same season since 1975-76.

Thanks Kobe 8-Ball for your Preview [IMG] Excellent Job [IMG]

Washington,i do see us giving the Kings a run for the money as the Wizards have a great reailble team this year.this will be a good game for both teams seeing that the Wizards are up and coming,and have suprised some people this year.

The Kings certainly look very strong,and the Wizards remind me of a younger version of the Kings,so i do see similar game styles between the 2 clubs.so this will be a great game to watch.

Washington has 7 road wins in the month of Dec. I believe. I think we can win this one, we beat the Lakers who handled the Kings last week. It just depends on what Washington team shows up and what Sac. team shows up. Either way, it should be a really good game.

Washington,Actually could win against Sacramento.It wouldn't suprise me at all if this were to occur.I Think most people underestimate the Wizards and what there capable of doing,and i certainly don't want the Kings to do such a thing tonight...anyways i agree with you...It should be a good game.

Good Luck.

I had read it already before my post.My post implied that the only way the wizards win is if the kings dont show up.As opposed to a good wizard team showing up.

pretty good prediction... final score 104-93 kings
Webber had some really good moves tonight, the knee looked pretty good & even got an ally-oop while grabbing another double double.

Stojakovic led all scorers tonight with 26.

for those on the Ostertag Stat Watch, a slightly disapointing night with only 4 rebounds and one block. he didnt score tonight at all.. but on the bright side, since he didnt take any shots, it doesnt really affect his shooting percentage for the season... [IMG]

Eddie Jordan is such an idiot, why have Jarvis Hayes on Peja? Why did he keep putting Michael Ruffin in when Kwame was making it harder for Webber to score, and when Ruffin came in Webber was jsut killing him.

The guy loves Hayes and Ruffin, and they don't deserve to play so much, Jamison on Brad Miller? Kwame and Haywood should both have played 30 minutes, it would've helped keep Miller from getting 5 offensive boards, and Kwame is a much better matchup against Webber.

Good game though, Bibby hit some nice shots, and the whole Kings team like usual was efficient and flowed well offensively.

A nice win for the Kings at home. Washington refused to quit and show signs of a much improved team this season. I think that they have the potential to make it to the East finals this year.

A Great win for the Kings.I Figured the game would have been more closer than what it was,but the Wizards are very impressive and i think will go far in the long run.hey they held their own against us last night.

While Bibby,Peja,And Webber simply shined last night with their great performances.however i'm concerned with Jackson's right wrist injury??..does anyone know about how his condition is??

really the game was a lot closer than the score indicates. the Wiz played them pretty tight all night long & the Kings never really shook them untill the couple minutes of the game.

as far as jackson goes... he was scheduled for an MRI today. this is the same injury he picked up in the nuggets game back in mid Nov. & he basically aggravated it last night

Great game, your starters played great. Brad Miller I think was the X factor in that game, how long do you guys have him locked up? I wouldn't mind Washington picking him up, I think he'd fit in great here, especially with the way he passes.
