I really wish there was at least 1 game broadcasted nationally per day. Take today for example, I wanted to see the Cavs vs Wolves game. I know there are many reasons why this isn't really possible, due to other programs conflicting and such, but I really think the NBA's fan base would grow if there was at least 1 game on per day. Especially ones with players (LBJ, KG) that people would like to see play. Maybe the NBA wouldn't wanna do that because they want people to buy the league-pass, but I think if their fan base grows larger, that in the end will make more profit than a few people buying the League pass. What do you all think?
There's no avenue, other than NBA TV to do such. It would cost an inordinant amount of money for the NBA to buy time on a regular network to show 1 game per day. I'm a die hard, so I buy LP and have no problem with that. One game a day wouldn't help me, as it would inevitably only be the game that the NBA feels most "average" (aka-know nothing) fans would watch, which would leave the Celtics out of the mix anyways.
a quick question, having the league pass on nba.com, you can watch any games you like? is it highlight or a full game? thanks...
NBA TV and LP are seperate entities. NBA TV mostly shows junk all day, with one or 2 select games per night, if that. LP has most of the games being played on a given night. It lists thier start time and puts each game on a seperate channel involved in the LP bracket. You could feasibly watch any one of 3-8 games per night, in thier entirety. If you've got PIP, then you could probably watch most of maybe 4-5 games per night, depending on the schedule.
I see. Thanks for the reply and I think that's only for American users right? If I'm at overseas and would like to follow the games, the only way I think is apply for the Inside Ticket from nba.com and only can catch the audio and game highlight...that's too bad. When will the NBA TV or LP go world wide?
