He should come out and play with a lot of intensity. Rasheed will try to go inside and the Bulls must keep him out of the low post. [*]Get some rebounds, Detroit will look to take advantage with their frontcourt. Bulls will need to get some defensive rebounds to prevent extra possesions for the Pistons. [*]Get some efficient minutes from Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni off the bench [*]Get Good play from Hinrich and Curry. Hinrich is in his 2nd NBA season who seems to be producting straight away and has become one of the top shooting guards. He will need to try to spread the ball around to get some easy shots. Curry will need to get some good low post position and look to stay agressive.
Detroit Pistons:
[*]Run the fastbreak, Detroit should look to try spreading the ball and running tonight. [*]Take the ball inside, Larry Brown keeps trying to get the Pistons to take the ball inside more. Detroit needs to start doing this. Get the ball to Rasheed, Ben, Mcdyess and let them get some easy points. Also, Billups will need to penetrate and be able to generate fouls. [*]Get good production from Hamilton and Billups, Even with Rasheed Wallace, most of the Pistons' offense relies on the guards. Billups and Hamilton still need to play well and with intensity. [*]Play the Piston's style of basketball, The Pistons need to get back the basics of spreading the ball around and getting open shots. The Pistons also need some smart bench play and some excellent execution on the offensive end.
Game Thoughts The Pistons head into this game after losing to the Blazers at home by 1, a game where Rip Hamilton shot 3-22, Billups 5-15 and Rasheed Wallace 7-19. Just another game where the Pistons play very inconsistant basketball. Instead of going 3 games over 500 they manage to slip up once again and are now just 12-11 on the season. I'm still waiting for this big winning streak to happen. Bulls on the other hand come into this one on a 4 game winning streak, after beating the team the Pistons couldn't, the Blazers. Since moving Duhon into the starting line-up and Antonio Davis also in the starting 5 the Bulls have been playing much better basketball. The play of Ben Gordon has also been huge, he is averaging 12 points per game including shooting 43% from three-point land. The Pistons need this win heading into Indiana on christmas day, the last thing they need is to fall to 500 at this stage.
omg not lookin good at halftime we're down by wight against THE BULLS the pistons have to start playin like they do at their best!!!!!!
Amazing how badly the Pistons suck this year, Dumars needs make a move. Losing to the Bulls at home is shocking, no matter how good they have been playing.
