Arbitrator Roger Kaplan's decision makes O'Neal eligible to return Saturday, when the Pacers host the Pistons in the teams' first matchup since one of the most violent melees in NBA history.</div>

It says he'll be eligible to come back when the pacrs play the pistons, so it'll make things more interseting.

That makes that matchup even better now. Tinsley and O'neal need to lead the Pacers. It's going to be interesting to see the security scene and fan reaction in Indy.

David Stern can appeal and take this to court, so It isn't confirmed JO will play on saturday. Would help my fantasy team though.

David Stern will never allow this to happen.
He took a hard stand in suspending all three player for a long time to set an example to the rest of his league.
If Jermaine does come back on Saturday, then I'd assume ABC had something to do with it.

for the sake of money the teams and NBA going to earn, I don't feel surprise.
A pistons vs pacers game matchup again after the fight, with and without J.O, I think the sell-out of the tickets and the game watching rate on TV will be a big difference.(i might be wrong) Why not any other games? Why back on playing the pistons? all are just coincidences?

    agreed.

Though i do not think that the game will be heavily watched on television if J oneal is not allowed to play. I believe if O neal was inelligible for that game it would in return make abc lose money and could disgruntle a few big shots in the abc orginization.

This is just plain out stupid. They are basically just asking for more trouble if they let him back into the league on sat. They are playing the Pistons for pete sake! The one team that hates O'neal's guts and he is coming back. That is just crazy I would like to see who is doing the inside work. ABC or the Pacers?

I agree with that, I don't want to see a blowout by the Pistons. I'm glad this happened so that the Pacers can hopefully get their season back on track and get a good playoff seed.
