If you could compose a team of only Knicks players, past or present, who would you choose. I would have a starting lineup of PG: Walt "Clyde" Frazier SG: Latrell Sprewell SF: Bernard King PF: Willis Reed C: Patrick Ewing Bench: Stephon Marbury Allan Houston Charles Oakley John Starks Marcus Camby Mark Jackson Earl Monroe

Sorry, Tribute, I didn't mean to edit your post, but rather reply. Please re-post. Apologies - Knicks Analyst.</font>
I was thinking the same thing but, I wanted to mix it up a bit. I didn't want a lineup of almost every 70's player and Ewing the only modern guy. Maybe Sprewell was pushing it a bit . Ireally liked him though.
team GOt to agree with Tribute to H20 on this one. Earl the PEarl is far superior to Spree as is Houston. My Starting lineup is as follows: PG-Frazier SG-Earl Monroe SF-Bernard King PF-Willis Reed C-Patrick Ewing For the bench why no mention of Dick Barnett, or Dave DeBusschure who was all-NBA defensive team six times and named one of the NBA 50 greatest.

I knew I was forgetting somebody! Let me correct my team. PG- Walt "Clyde" Frazier SG- Earl "The Pearl" Monroe SF- Bernard King PF- Willis Reed C- Patrick Ewing Bench: Stephon Marbury Mark Jackson John Starks Allan Houston Dave DeBusschure Larry Johnson(does anyone else miss his sign?) Charles Oakley Lucas(cant remember his first name) Dick Barnett That's my team. Can anyone beat this team?? I wish I could put "Skywalker" up there but he doesnt compare to those guys. No room for Sprewell, sadly, but he gets an honorable mention as does Charlie Ward.
Tribute - 'Lucas' his first name is Jerry. I agree but remove remove Larry Johnson. In the later years with New York all he did was waste our money and never went to the hoop.

Who can forget his four point play? Certainly not the Pacer fans. And what about his sign?! You have to give him a break. He had back problems. When he was healthy he did very well for us. Even when he wasnt fully healthy he was still good.

He was okay, but he was not the player they paid a fortune for.
Lj Although LJ hit some money shots for the knicks he didn't do enough to earn his money. (please pardon the play on words)
You gotta have Sprewell Tribute! He was definitely the heart and soul of the Knicks in the 2000's. Atleast he's an honarable mention
