"It's too simple to blame one player," Sloan said. "We can look for easy answers, but you're not going to find any." Still, a pattern emerged during the Jazz's 98-86 loss to the Raptors that was hard to miss. Starting point guard Raul Lopez played 22 minutes, during which Utah outscored Toronto 43-32, an 11-point gain. Carlos Arroyo relieved Lopez and played 26 minutes (including the game's final 10) when the Jazz were outscored 66-43, a 23-point deficit. Three days earlier, it was a similar story in New York: Plus-seven when Lopez played, minus-eight with Arroyo.</div> <div align="center">Link </div>
Hmm... I thought Arroyo played awesome against Philly. I missed the Toronto game, so I can't say. I always thought Arroyo was better, but now I dunno : Maybe Sloan should actually give Mcleod some playing time.
It's definetely a good article. Arroyo is the best individual PG on the Jazz, but he brings down the team when he's on court usually. Raul might not be as much of a scorer, but he makes the others better. Personally, I would say that Arroyo is most to blame for the Jazz' funk, but not entirely. The Jazz Guards in general have been playing poor, leaving it all up to the likes of Okur and Boozer. Hopefully McLeod can get healthy soon, he has had the best stint of all the Jazz PG's.
