Nice post really...but we've closed many threads like this already due to the content that's been posted about Kobe and Shaq in the same thread. What you're asking is why it ended up the way it did, and being a new member, I understand that you weren't around for the other Kobe/Shaq threads. Unfortunately, those were eventually locked because of the flaming and baiting, etc. So I'll have to lock this thread due to the fact that any thread that asks a question like the one you have asked will more than likely catch fire in a matter of hours. Using the search method, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about with these other threads. I'm going to close it...and then speak to the mods/admins about it. This is pointless. Making endless thread after thread about the same subject when there are a plethora of threads already devoted to it. It's a simple process. Each forum has a search feature. This feature is for searching the forums for posts/threads. When you are creating a new thread (especially about a popular subject) use the aforementioned search function. If you see a recent (meaning one that is under 3 months old) thread then post in it instead of creating a new thread. When people make thread after thread on one subject it takes away the time a moderator could be putting his time to better use. JBB doesn't ask for much. Follow the guidelines,conduct yourself like a human being and be courteous and respectful for others. In exchange for this,we give you a clean and reliable atmosphere to discuss basketball. When everyone is in a thread acting like 3 year olds and making themselves look like asses it isn't exactly following guidelines,not to mention any of the other things I mentioned. This is not meant for the thread starter,nor is it directed at anyone in particular. All of you that have been running around in the Shaq/Kobe threads and Heat/Laker forums acting like 4 year olds need to stop and ask yourself what exactly are you adding to JBB by acting like that? If you can't figure it out I'll help you....because the answer is nothing. An announcement was made regarding this very subject. I suggest all who haven't read it,do so now.
