Good trade for the Hawks. They get a Point Guard. That's what they needed. This will open up more minutes for the Josh's and hopefully Diaw.

Good trade for Atlanta but, I really feel sorry for Barry. The only reason why he signed with Atlanta is to be close to his family. I think he feels kind of double crossed I know I would. Anyway, I know the NBA is a business and teams have to do what is ever good for them. Very interesting. The Rockets have been surprisingly struggling after the McGrady deal and I think a good veteran role player such as Jon Barry, will stir up some mommentum for them. For the Rockets, I think they will have a decent strting PG who can make teams pay for doubling on Walker. It will probably benefit both teams very well. I guess we will have to wait and see. Sometimes the trades that seem so small can turn out to be really effective when it all boils down.

This is a big trde for ATL, we can get ourselves on track finally with a good pg. Well I know Lue isnt the greatest but It's an upgrade over Kenny Anderson and Boris Diaw who is really an SG. I like this trade.

Yeah, the same thing went through my head after I heard about the trade. I would've liked to see him back in Denver where they can use him, and a place where he familiar with.

Are you kidding? Boris Diaw can't even shoot! He's just horrible at shooting

Yea, I agree with you Boris cannot shoot but he's a big body to be a PG and his skills are better utilized when he's playing SG. We got 4 PG's and one of them is a rookie so this creates a logjam doesnt it? I mean Lue, Ivey, Delk and Kenny Anderson are all okay PG's, Ivey needs playing time though, he's a lockdown defender and has a huge 'upside'.

IMO I would rather play Jon Barry on PG than Ty Lue, (washed up Kenny Anderson or Diaow)..maybe it's the hawk's coaching staff's fault which is why they're doing so bad with a pretty athletic team. JB's first rocket game was pretty good and it only needed one game to persuade me it was a good trade for us. Thx for the steal..and enjoy watching purty Tyra Lue ...not too smart tho so I don't know if his fadeaways or size will help as a pg. p.s we need anotine walker..if we get him his shooting slump would surely go away
