<div class="quote_poster">Quoting heatfan:</div><div class="quote_post">TNT said Brad Miller got 15 stiches in his leg. He was man enough to come back and finish the game, but he missed some shots in the 4th quarter, which were probably influenced by the cut. Nice effort but Not good enough. Hopefully it's nothing serious, he's crucial to the Kings success.</div> The Cut didn't affect Brad Millers bad shot where Shaq got that rebound with 1 Sec left. IT was B-Millers speed and quickness and hops that slowed him down. He wasn't that far away from the rim, so it shouldn't of mattered much.
We've also been the 1st team since the '92 Celtics to outshoot the opposing team in FG% 10 games straight... I think we can make it 11 against the 3 point shooting Lakers. 10 games straight... 11 is next, Dec 25th, X-Mas Day!!! Shaq, Wade and the Heat are lookin' for blood and hungry for the win.

Well the Heat seem invinceible right now and I don't think they're going to let the measly lakers stop them lol.

The Lakers blew the Kings out of Arco a few games ago...and that was with Christie and Miller both in the game. In fact, we even played Vujacic, Slava and Walton...which is just terrible. This game was great...but it doesn't mean that the Heat are invincible. Tough, but no team is ever invincible.
brad miller 15 stitches?? ouch.... i hope wade wasnt hurt cuz i want this heat team to be a 110% when they face the lakers! cuz im not settling for a win against an injured wade. good luck on the 25th.

He played the rest of the game. And Yeah we'll be ready for the 25th. I know the Lakers won't be 100% since C. Butler is out. I was looking forward to a good game by Caron.

What makes you think the Heat will show up on the 25th?? Look you cant make excuses you go out you play. You play bad you lose you play good you win its simple. You cant take away credit of a W by saying the other team didnt play good. Because of there was one team that played good every game, there would be no point of the NBA. Sure some teams are better than the others but on any given night any team can beat the other, Thats whats so great about it. Happy Christmas. Happy New Year. Happy Holidays. Looking for a good clean game Saturday. and a Lakers W.
You just want to keep using the Kings game as your claim to success this season without anyone saying any differently. The lakers played great that game, shot 55% which is VERY good. However,no one can argue against the fact that the kings just didnt show up to play competitively, the end.About the heat,it looks like they only have to worry about detroit provided they start playing well.Otherwise the Heat pretty much own the east.
The Lakers are a 3 point shooting team, if they get hot from downtown, they do good. If they have a bad shooting night... well, you all saw Memphis... anywho Sorry guys I made a mistake, we're the first team since Boston Celtics in '92 to outshoot our opponents in 16 games straight, not 10!!!!! GO HEAT GO

Well I guess a better word to describe the Heat are "hot" and the Heat are currently on a 10 game winning streak heading into Staples so my guess is they're going to have a LOT of confidence. It was a different Kings team than this. That Kings team amazing offense did'nt show up, but this gam their offense really showed up and defense too. I think you can agree the Kings had a better game vs the Heat than vs the Lakers. Don't say "Laker defense" either, as they didn't really do that other than Kobe. Heat have a better defense IMO.

They lost to the Lakers and they lost to the Heat. Saying that they didn't show up to play either game is just discrediting the other teams for winning. Maybe if they were on the road, I could understand...but they were at ARCO both times. You just don't make an excuse like that and not give the Heat and Lakers credit. You can blame whoever you want...but the true blame goes to the Lakers and Heat (and the other teams that have won) for picking up the win.
Right now the Heat are probably the hottest team in the league.. up there with Phoenix. 2 teams with a 10 game winning streak ATM... tha'ts just insane. Imagine the confidence the Heat have now goign into the Lakers game... like nothing can stop them. Winning 10 in arow... DJ hitting a game winner, coming from behind 17. Winning a game without Shaq... it's just whack.
Jones wasn't the only one that won this game. After he hit that shot Shaq had a monster block and the rest of the team played great defense forcing Sacremento to take a contested shot. They should have enough confidence right now to put the Lakers away tomorrow. They won't be considered an elite team until they beat San Antonio, Minnesota or another team expected to go far in the playoffs.
