Offseason Free Agent Ideas

Heres a link from RealGM listing all the free agent players that are going to be in the offseason. Anyone have any ideas on who we can possibly take considering the cap space and everything?

Some players that I have picked and may be practical are:

Travis Best- He's a nice guard and would be a definite upgrade over Ward, Sura, and Barry. Best can bring some energy to the court, averages around 9 points a game, with 2.5 assists per game. Some downsides of this are that he's reaching veteranhood, meaning he might start being more injury prone a little later on in his career.

Donyell Marshall- I really don't know if it will work out or not considering right now we are loaded with overly paid PFs. However, if we can sign him, it would be a great addition to our team. Great rebounder, consistent scorer, hustles, and brings energy to the court. Plus, he can occasionally hit the three pointer, which would add to some great strategies to our team.

Other players that would be nice additions to our team but probably impossible: Jeff McInnis, Darrell Armstrong, Stromile Swift, Eddy Curry

 

eddy curry is not going to come here, he wont want to play behind yao

 

Bring in the Vladimir Radmanovic! and also i can't beileve Yao ming is going to be a free agent in '06

the rockets will sign him at seasons end to absorb some cap hit this year.

 

hope we get a good first round draft pick
