Man, that's a great preview. I cannot even say who'd win this one.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting realdealbneal:</div><div class="quote_post">The reason I think that is because I believe Van Gundy will be disappointed in Eddie Jones, and put Wade at the two.

And...everyone says Kobe is overrated as a defender, but look what happened to Michael Redd in both games against the Lakers so far. I think Kobe will definitely hurt Wade's shooting and before Wade can get hot, he'll pick up a few fouls.

(might as well post in each forum, huh?) [IMG]</div>
I don't see Wade at 2 especially against the Lakers. It's better to leave Eddie at 2 and let him suck all he wants, while Wade outplays Atkins.

If you can't respect my opinion, don't comment. I did my best to make it unbiased. I could've been a jerk about it and posted that the Lakers win by 20 and Shaq doesn't even show...but I didn't.

If I believe Wade will get shut down, that's my opinion. This game will show that the Heat will have to choose between Wade or Shaq...and I guarantee you, this will be Shaq's game for the Heat, not Wade's. DW has nothing to prove, and will have trouble with Kobe because, really...Bryant is going to look to put up a HUGE game, just like Shaq. Expect both Wade and Mihm/Divac to be in trouble.

Yeah, I think its common sense for Van Gundy to not put Wade at the 2....Kobe will have to face either Shannon Anderson or EJ.

I don't expect neither team to just roll over and die. Both players have something to prove but it's not Kobe/Shaq who will eventually be the key players because we all know they are going to blow up. It's the players that surround them. The important players to watch are Odom and Wade.

I wouldn't expect Lamar Odom to JUST put up his usually 14p 12b a game this game, I am expecting him to come up monster because of the fact he will be playing VS. his former team to and proving something, expect a monster game working the boards picking probably helping Mihm/Divac with Shaq and also expect him to take it the hoop on Shaq and draw fouls. ODOM should have a huge monster game, I am expecting at least 18-19 points and 13 rebounds and a couple steals.

AGAIN Shaq is going to have a huge game to I am not saying that, expect this to be a offensive shoot out and the game that plays the better D wins.

    Kobe>Wade
    Shaq>Mihm
    Odom>Haslem

Expect this to be a huge game, I am going to record it.

I know what you're saying, but the thing with Redd is that he doesn't have the athelticism of most other SG's, so if you can get a guy who is the same height or taller than him and is more athletic and willing to follow him around, you can stop him or prevent him from getting the ball. Redd can come off screens and catch and shoot, and also create himself, but Kobe is able to keep up with him off the ball because he's not super quick, and on the ball KB is more athletic and longer than him .

With Wade it's a different story, he has the ball in his hands constantly, and has his extreme quickness, Wade is not the greatest ball handler in terms of PG bringing the ball up etc or in the Nash/Kidd type sense, but he's an amazing scoring ball handler in terms of knowing how to beat his man, and using his quickness and one on one handles to get by people. I'd like to see the matchup, but most of the bad games he's [Wade] had have just been more of him just not playing too well as opposed to someone stopping him from scoring.

Great Preview Brandon [IMG] ...early but good. [IMG]

It's kind of hard to tell who will win this game at this moment.but there's no doubt this game will be a good one..probably one of the best in the NBA so far this season.

I'll just say that in another few weeks i can give a really good accurate statement about who i think will win.so sounds like this will be a game of ages.

And may the best team win the game...Good Luck to both teams.

Man, the guys just stating his opinion saying that he thinks the heat will win in a loop sided victory. No need to bash him just because he thinks thes heat will destroy your Kobe Bryant. I'm sure if he said the same exact thing excpet that the lakers will win in a loop sided win then you wouldn't be saying anything.

Right now I'd say the Heat would win, but just because the Lakers have home court advantage, I ain't so sure. I'll make my prediction probably about in a week from now. Also don't expect Lamar To get those boards with Shaq and Udonis who isn't that bad of a rebounder. Kobe will have to have a HUGE game in oreder for the Lakers to win at this point.

BTW great preview best one on JBB I have seen. The best game deserves the best preview. [IMG]

Even if Wade is put at the 1 spot trust me Kobe will be on him he will personally go to Rudy and ask him to guard Wade.

Because we will most probably see a rotation of Kobe and Caron at the 1 and 2.

I don't know about that though, now that we have Bobbitt. The main reason why we picked up Bobbitt and traded Rush was because of his defense...and I wouldn't be surprised to see Bobbitt play significant minutes in this game, since Kobe is more of a point guard than Atkins and Tierre both.

Plus...Heat fans...Damon Jones did well tonight. I'm not sure about his defense...but do you think he'll be starting at the point?

True, but I pretty sure that SVG will try Wade at the 2 for a couple games before Christmas. If Wade fails there, he will be moved back to the one for this game.

Just watch, both Rudy and Stan are going to downplay this as a regular game when the media questions them. But they will both respect that fact that they both have players who want it, and will coach their hearts out.

I also think that you underestimated what Kobe and Shaq's point performances will be.

^^ he should have some kind of backing to his prediction. Just to say the Lakers cant compete with the Heat is stupid.....
