Shaq is dumb..."I knew that wasn't going in.."

Great game though, and why is everyone making a big deal out of the handshake. Great game by Lamar and Co..Kobe started off hot, cooled down. Shaq let his team down, Wade has been winning games for Miami all year.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great game by both teams. Miami played a little better in the overtime. It would have been even better ending if D wade made that buzzer beater tho.

Yea on the final play I don't know why he didn't drive either, I thought that's what he was waiting to do.

Anyways, HEAT WIN

The interview with Shaq at the end was great.

Tafoya: "Shaq, what were you thinking when Kobe put that shot up at the end?"
Shaq: "I knew it wasn't going in"

That was a good game. My boy Odom stepped his game up . Eddie Jones did the same. It was a good game overall tho. Dwayne Wade should have made that shot though. And shaq shouldnt have fouled out. Kobe shouldve made that shot to but oh well good game.

I thought It would have been better if Kobe hit that three at the buzzer. [IMG] Ah well.

Wasn't a blow out and it went into OT. Merry Christmas Kobe and the Lakers, Merry Christmas to Shaq and Miami. Great Game!

I seriously got sick. No matter what Kobe does, that makes no difference to me. The Lakers had it won, and their defense just failed them...again...and again.

Rudy T, where's Bobbitt? And Brian Grant wasn't playing bad at all, but wasn't even seeing any minutes late in the game. Jumaine Jones, no defense...makes me sick. Chucky Atkins let Damon shoot threes all game long...and Tierre wasn't anywhere on the court in the second half. Odom did okay...offensively, he was incredible. Defensively, he pretty much played terribly. Mihm couldn't handle the ball about 4 times. Kobe...I can't believe it. That shot was there...he's gotta hit it no matter how many guys are on him.

Shaq was pretty much owned in this game. Dwyane Wade broke Jumaine's ankles three times and shot over him with ease. I didn't see much of Rasual...but Laettner surprised me off the bench. Shandon Anderson...why was he even there? And with Eddie Jones, he pulled through.

Great, great great game. Well worth the hype, and more. Congrats to the Heat for pulling it off...and congrats to the Lakers for keeping it hot with the best team in the East.

This is our 11th straight win, the Heat franchise record is 12 and our next games are against Atlanta, Detroit, and Charlotte. So it's pretty much a given that we will beat Atlanta to tie the franchise record for 12 straight and hopefully we can get out of Detroit with a win to break the record, then it's off to Charlotte to extend the record [IMG].

True, but we still shouldn't have let it go into overtime.

Yeah I thought he would drive to basket too. He has that ability to either lay in or draw foul. I don't know why he chose to shoot pull up jumper but maybe this would be a good lesson to him and he'd know to drive and do what he does the best next time he's in similar situation. Whew I was on my feet thruout the whole 4th quarter and overtime and now i'm really tired from watching it lol

Yes he salpped him in the hand and Kobe was soppose to go to the line for free throws and the Lakers would of won it because Kobe was like 12-12 in free throws tonight.

Did the defense fail or did the Heat just pick it up offensively :P

Jumaine Jones no defense? Really? Jumaine Jones was guarding Wade, the difference in quickness between them is massive, it was a smart move IMO, because Wade drew 2 quick fouls on Kobe early on. Jumaine Jones has always been known for his defense and is a good defender, the matchup was just not in his favour.

Shandon Anderson for a guy who is not really supposed to be invlolved in the offense took a fair amount of shots lol. He's supposed to be a good defender depending on who he's playing, but common, what's Shandon supposed to do to Kobe? I guess he's a better option than Rasual though.

I don't think Odom's defense was bad, what did he do bad defensively, their were some late rotations from a lot of players on the Lakers, but their's no place I can pin point Odom playing bad defensively. Haslem was backing off him a fair bit for a guy who has 3 point range, yea Odom isn't a good three point shooter, but you can't just give it to him.

Laettner did what he always does today, play good smart defense, get layups, play hard, and I think he hit one of his little mid-range jumpers. That's him and Doleac's game, the 17-20 ft jumper

I hate playing these kind of teams, Atlanta and Charlotte, you never know when a team like that could beat you, yea their chances are very low, but many of the scrub teams play hard, and that day you come out not being serious, they'll beat you.

Hmm....seems to me like a reason the Lakers fans will use to claim that they didn't lose this game. It was a great game and I give props to the Lakers for fighting till the very end so get over it please.
