Malone always seems to look like he is going to some Texas team and then snub them. Last off season it was the Mavs now the Spurs. Next he will probaly ge the Rockets intrested, and then sya no thanks. I think that Malone will end up with the Heat. Just because he wants to be with Shaq, and feels its his best chance at a championship considering how weak the east is. So I am about 90% sure he is going to be a Heat come January unless they go on a huge losing streak.
You know what? I'm going to make a bold prediction: he's gonna come back to the Lakers. I don't know if I'd like for it to happen, because it'll take playing time away from the others...but at least it moves Odom down to SF, and that's exactly where he needs to be. I have a feeling that meeting with Buss wasn't just about a job with the front office.
I'll agree with Real. I dont see KM going any where else but LA. Maybe not as a player but I believe that he will either work in the front office or do something with the team, can you say assistant coach.
You konw, I think he should just retire. He's had many tries at a Championship and he is number 2 or 3 on the all time scoring list.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting The_Game46:</div><div class="quote_post">Malone to L.A lets put it this way: Malone Likes shaq malone hates Kobe </div> Hey, you have your right to an opinion. But think of it this way: Shaq and Kobe hated each other from the start. Who knows what MORE went on that we don't know about between the two...yet...they won three consecutive rings together.
^I get what u are saying but this Malone, the guy who tried to hit on Kobe wife...... No disrespect but i think Kobe isnt mature enough to have malone playing besides him. Kobe is good player but i dont think Malone wants to play besides Kobe no more.

I'll admit that he was a little selfish, but it took two for the dynasty to crumble. However, I think Kobe is getting smarter and trying to keep his reputation from plunging anymore than it has already (if you haven't noticed, he approached Shaq first and commented on how great he played, as well as the Heat, at the end of the game). Maybe he had a talk with Magic Johnson...I don't know. The only thing I seriously don't understand is why Malone said no to San Antonio. I think that tells me that he's making a return to the Lakers organization...because for one, the only reason he'd go to the Heat or Wolves would be because of a chance at a ring. However, he'll have limited minutes, and I really doubt that the Heat organization would want to risk Haslem's satisfaction with the Heat, since his contract will be up after this season. As for the Wolves, they picked up Griffin, and he's playing incredibly well...possibly better than Malone would be for them...but who knows. I think Karl wants to be loyal to Los Angeles. Otherwise, if he was that bitter, he wouldn't have went back and talked to Buss and Kupchak about ANYTHING...let alone playing for them again. I don't think Malone is done...and I don't think he wants to retire. Malone back to the Lakers is a bigger possibility than retirement...and if he wanted to win a title, he would've went to the Spurs...that's the obvious choice (yet I hate to admit it).
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting FooDoggg3xB:</div><div class="quote_post">Malone isnt worth much. Why would anyone want him on their team? He's just a burden.</div> Burden? He brings veteran experience/leadership to any team he goes+he's a great player,he would've averaged 20 points if he would've not went to LA.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting FooDoggg3xB:</div><div class="quote_post">Malone isnt worth much. Why would anyone want him on their team? He's just a burden.</div> How do you figure this? He can stills core, brings isnide tougness, and vetern leadership in the locker room. Last season he missed the most games of his career due to a freak accident, and one that has been rehabilitated to the fullest extent so it does not happen again. Why would a team making a run at a title not want him? He is battle tested and has been to the finals many times. He is a warrior second all time in the all time points list. First in Jazz history, and he can very well dominate at the power forward spot in the eastern cofnerence. The combo of him and Haslem would provide no relieaf for apposing teams. They could split time and the Heat would have a constant double double threat. As far as Malone heading back to LA it is possible. Malone may dislike Kobe at this point, but we have to remember when Malone moved to LA he sold his house on a moutain top in Utah to move to California and said "you have to be fully commited to something" does he really want to pick up his family and move it again? Now why I think he wont go to LA. The Lakers are neither a team that has a chance to make the finals this year, or a tema that would give him a shot to become first all time in the scoring list. He does have a good relationship with Laker management though, and may be thinking about his future after bball when making his choice. Though Miami would give him the best shot to get to the finals. Although, the Wolves are a great team they play in the western conference and will have a lot of battles to go through to try and get to the finals. Same with the Spurs and Lakers. The Heat being in the east Malone wont have to bang around as much, and they will only have to play like four teams that will actually give them any trouble possibly, and that is considering that the Pistons and Pacers pull it together.
I think Karl isn't going to play anymore. He wants rest for his family and especially for his kids, and guess where they're going to school? That's right, LA. He won't move again, trust me. I have to admit with Real Deal on this one, if it's one team that has a chance for Malone(when Kobe and Karl can smooth out their differences) it shall be the Lakers. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Malone isnt worth much. Why would anyone want him on their team? He's just a burden.</div> Right, and you're a burden to JBB Just kidding Foo, but how can you say that? He brings leadership, hard-work, a great mentality and DEFENCE. Those are the four ingredients of a ... Jup, champion. Remember how he played D on Duncan and Garnett in the play-offs? I've never seen those 2 as bewilderd as then. He can bring that extra element to a team, but as I said before, I can't see anyone except the Lakers getting Malone.
Really dont care anymore where he is going. He is a joke now in the NBA, he is like the Ja Rule of the NBA. Just a big joke. He should retire.

Well, he is being pretty unpredictable right now. At first, I thought for sure he was back with Los Angeles. Then, because of comments by Kobe Bryant, he was never going back. Then it was either the Wolves, Spurs or Heat going to get him. The Wolves have pulled out, and now Malone doesn't like the Spurs. I guess you just don't know whats going to happen now. I would boldy say Miami or back to the Lakers, but he could prove me wrong, again.

He can't make up his mind. In fact, the Lakers were looking at Eddie Griffin...since Rudy T loves the guy...but we couldn't do much because Malone wasn't giving us an answer, and Griffin lost interest in us and went to the Wolves. He's actually starting material for us, and we could've moved Odom down to the SF...but nope...
You would be very happen with Griffin right now. He has been amazing for the Wolves so far, and in my oppinion could easily get Sixth Man of the Year. Everytime he comes in you know you are going to get some scoring, he has just been a solid player for us so far. He might be a better fit in Los Angeles, because he loves to get his open threes, and Kobe does a good job of driving and kicking. He could play small forward if you didn't want to change the way Odom is playing right now.
I'm surprised...I wonder where else he is considering...to me, it looks like Miami might be the frontrunner now...I was so sure he was going to end up a Spur though...So I'm thinking he'll end up in Miami, but he needs to quit playing around and commit to a team already...
