Keys To The Game:

    * Get Up On Shooters- Chucky, Kobe, Cook, and Jones are deadly from the 3 PT line, contest every shot possible, and make them put it on the floor.

    * Don't double #8- We have to avoid (if possible) double teaming Kobe Bryant. He has a great ability of finding the open man. We ain't gonna stop him, so Moe or Eric have to contain him and don't make the other guys beat you.

    * Bosh at it- Chris have to get some early touches against Odom. Lamar is a talented forward but he ain't the best defender. Bosh could use his post up moves or exploide him off the dribble.

    * Transition D- I'm not saying we have to stop their fast break entirely, we just have to get back fast and not give them the easy shot.

    * Bench Production- Our bench has been the only bright spot this season, and it's one of the league's best. LA are not that deep, and their bench is one of the worst. You do the math.

    ....

    Say What?! (Prediction)

If we can contain Kobe and stop the others, we have a good shot at winning this game. This is a game that could get out of hand quickly if don't come out focus. Expect an entertaining one.

In my opinion, all we have to do is contain kobe. Kobe falls, so will the rest. Keep him under 20 points, and this game is in the bag.

Look for Mihm to have a monster day on the boards, just like every other average Centre does...

The Raptors are going to win this, book it. Chris Bosh is going to go off like against the Timberwolves.

The funny thing is that all our wins have been against good teams, except for Utah without AK, New York [just okay], and the Nets, so with the Lakers being an average team, I don't know, anything could happen, but I don't see a win here.

We struggle against teams who are about on the same level or better but not largely better, and do good against those who should be much better.

we did make a game of it against pheonix tying it at 80 at one point and we play pretty good ball vs good teams so hopefully we'll get a win somehow.

Phoenix let us come back, seriously, our guy were trying so hard and they were jut jogging up the court and launching garbage shots, then as soon as their starters came back and they got serious, it was over like that.

Is Rose injuried? Anyway, I see a tough game for the Raptors. I see them losing with a score of like 95-85. In think Odom will have a good game against Bosh and I think Kobe will have a good game. I think the Raptors will trail early and make a comeback to no avail.

Hmmm this one is tough. I won't get to watch the game but I'm checkin the score and it's pretty close. It'll be down to the wire but I really think the Lakers will pull through on thier homecourt, I doubt Kobe is gonna let this one slip away after the Miami collpase.

Why are Jalen Rose and Lammond Murray guarding Kobe? Then we play a zone and have Matt Bonner on Kobe, and with no shot blocker in the lane, the zone just seems useless in stopping penetration, geez.

LoL....yet another frustrating game i nthe life of a Raptor fan. There's always something that seems to be wrong. I wish I could recall the feelings I had back in 2001 when everything looked so bright. Past three years have been nothing but frustration and doubt, just like it seems in this game.

As long as they are hanging tough, I don't mind it because they still have a chance to win it. What a horrible descion thought, putting Jalen on Kobe. That's actually laughable.

Well Jalen still guarded Kobe when he came in, but Kobe was taking bad shots, or not finishing in the lane, so it wasn't too much of a problem this time around.

I know I've been critical of Araujo, but as long as this is not a Moiso moment [give us 12-10 one game and never do it again] I'll be extremely happy

Why does Milt always play in crunch time?

Why did Jalen, Lammond and Milt guard Kobe the most?

Why did Araujo never come back in the game even though he was doing good?

Why do we have such horrible defense?

Why does Sam Mitchell do some of the things he does?

Well at least that's over now, our great defensive strategy of putting 2 crappy defenders and a PG on one of the best one on one players in the league worked to perfection.

Almost everyone shot bad, Rafer shot horribly, I think Jalen, Lammond and Donyell were the only ones that shot well, and Bonnr obviously, but the starters didn't do too well.

Araujo 10 rebounds in 19 minutes is nice. MoPete finally made his attempt of a Statue of Liberty Dunk. Milt is still the Dean Of Layups, and the Lakers always have a person that the refs will give the benefit of the doubt to.

How many AND 1's did they have, I think it was an AND 1 on every made layup they had, ah well...

Those are questions all raptors fan should be asking including me. We had the lead until we broke down and kobe took over in crunch time late in the 4th. I has no idea why milt was playing in that kind of situation where the games on the line. ahh well atleast araujo had a nice game.

Chris Bosh should've gone after Odom.

Now I could care less if we win because it's part of babcocks stupid plan. As long as the young players play good (Bosh, Hoffa, Woods?) and we get effort and a good performance, than I'm satisfied. It's all part of the learning process without a star.

But next year, we'll have 230 Pound Bosh and Hoffa in the front court controlling the paint, and a backcourt of McCants and Alston running and gunning along with Gilchrist, Eric Williams and Rose(?) [IMG] ... I'm hopeful and being optimistic, but that's the only thing I could do right now based on the team we have [IMG]
