After a win against the Clippers, the Rockets will try to get to .500 with a win over the Milwaukee Bucks, this will be the first time the rockets face the Bucks this season (they will have another one in a few days).

This will not be an easy match for the Houston Rocket. T-Mac has to be more aggressive and drive it to the hoop like he has recently, he should score a decent amount of points, because of the lack of defense from Milwaukee and Yao Ming should have a decent game as well, Jon Barry really has to step up this game though because the Houston Rockets recently (and stupidly IMO) traded away Jim Jackson and Boki for David Wesley.

The Bucks quite simply, like every other team, has to stop T-Mac from driving it in or getting an easy jumpshot. They also shouldn?t let Yao get good position?nothing much to say here?

With Jim Jackson gone, they have to rely on Jon Barry to do a good job in his first starting game this season, he proved he could play well in the match against the clippers, but now eyes are on him to bring his A game.

The match isn?t the hardest we?ve ever had, but its not the easiest either, the match will really determine how well we can do with out our former role player and team leader, Jim Jackson.

    Prediction 94-82
    Rockets win by 12

Btw this is my first time, so if i've made any mistakes, please just let me know..

You did fine, nice job by the way. This should be an easy win for us if either Yao or McGrady play their game. Just one of them, it doesn't even matter if its both. The ball will probably be going to Yao early and often since they really have no low post defense that can stop him. McGrady on the other hand, will have his hands full guarding Redd, who's a great shooter so they will need to contain that man. However, McGrady, being the great offensive player that he has, should be able to penetrate regardless of who's guarding him. Plus, this should be a nice game to play after losing a lot of our players, so if we win, it should probably be boosting our chemistry, although it doesn't develop overnight.

    Rockets win, 96-86.

Great Job Dan Le, the Reason Bobby's face is weird is because he goes by Bob Sura, not Bobby, in the NBA. I had that problem too, but when you change it to Bob, it'll be this season's photo.

    Rockets: 94
    Bucks: 88

EDIT: You figured out the Bob Sura thing.. [IMG]

JJ was our clutch 3 pt shooter. But Wesley should give us more reliability in the PG/SG position. I hope we can get consistent 3 pointers from other players because we really need it with JJ g0ne... If we get them consistent 3's, I feel we got a good trade in getting Wesley because he's actually a better defender than JJ and he will make the offense run as a team better, hopefully

Anyone notice through the first quarter that we got dominated AT THE SMALL FORWARD POSITION?

Where's JJ when you need him? Oh yeah, He's in freaking NEW ORLEANS!

Who's defending Redd? Looks to me like Barry is leaving him open too much...or are the Rockets using the double team? (see my posts in the trade thread)

Well, to tell you the truth, the Rockets started off so terribly because they continually used the double team. For just the games I saw, that was their biggest problem IMO.

Hopefully Wesley can defend well in Houston, and keep the guards from penetrating...otherwise, the Rockets may have made a huge mistake trading away Jackson.

Yao getting straight up outmuscled for that rebound by Pachulia just summed up the entire season thus far. Weak play with no heart, no ability to get mad and get tough.

My gosh, what is going on with the Rockets? Before the season started, I looked and saw a fantacy type line up that any one in the the right sence of mind would say that the Rockets will probably get far into the western conference playoffs. I look now, and I see t-Mac putting up rather miserable numbers, and in tonight's game Yao is struggleing.

Not that I am such a Rocket's fan, but I am baffled that the Rockets are not preforming. I am think that you all are baffled too. Van Gundy was a fabulous coach, but right now he is does not seem to be molding the team to play well together and win games that they should win.

Jeff Van Gundy is pissed of at his players now!

Reporter- "After such a loss, what will you do to motivate your team?"

    Jeff- "Get some motivated players."

Source- Some guy on another forum said he heard it on NBATV
