Raptors making the comeback, we still had Jalen play, but Kobe couldn't finish on drives and didn't make his shots, so it didn't hurt. Go Raps!

Well...look at what happens when Chucky Atkins starts playing like a PG? Seven assists...I haven't ever seen that from him. [IMG]

Kobe goes off in the 4th because Atkins steps up. This is what I've been saying, Rudy T.

That's the end of that, Lammond and Jalen on Kobe broke down after a while, then we had Milt on Kobe, I don't know what that was all about either. Jalen doesn't even put his hands up when Kobe is shooting?

How many AND 1's did the Lakers have, man, almost every layup made was accompanied with an AND 1. What's the highlight of the game for us, probably that Araujo played, and we forced turnovers [IMG]

Ah well, at least the Raptors tried, Rafer shot horribly, but we had an Araujo sighting, and it was a good one. Everyone shot pretty bad to tell the truth, but the game had some dunks I guess, MoPete finally made his attempted statue of liberty dunk.

I've said it before that Chucky really isn't that bad, he just hasn't been put in the position to be a playmaker..

Nice job by the Kobe ending the game by driving hard to score with 6 seconds or so left on the shot clock, and 7 on the game clock, when the team is up by double digits, that's always nice lol

What a great game for the Lakers.Kobe looked incredible as usual and was a big part on why the Lakers got the W.This gives the Lakers a boost after the loss to Miami on X-Mas day.

A Question about Kobe's injury?...Is the Injury serious or is it something not to worry about?

Kobe may be starting a new streak here. Something like... 9 games straight with 40+ points? [IMG]

Well, he played great, I meant, he got 48 points and shot well over 50%. So yeah, pretty good.

    But i'm worried. Why?

I feel like Kobe is trying to make this a Kobe show, if Kobe keeps trying to score 50 points everynight its really gonna hurt the Lakers... hopefully i'm wrong, hopefully Kobe's mentality isn't to score 50, but to make his other teammates great and win every game.

The Lakers were up by double digits. Kobe already had like 44 points. He should have been drawing contact and throwing the ball to wide open guys that only took 9 shots, LIKE LAMAR ODOM. And letting them contribute with stats. I think Lamar should be taking close to as many shots as Kobe, and it's pathetic that even Chucky Atkins take two or three times the shots. Lamar can score in so many ways. PLEASE, LET HIM SHOOT THE FU...BALL.....

It makes no sense to have Bryant shoot around 25-35 shots, Atkins with 20+, and Lamar with under 10. Just makes no sense. I'm starting to wonder what the hell Rudy T. is thinking as Coach.

I gotta disagree with that Cody. If it wasn't for Kobe last night, the Lakers would've had alot of trouble against the Raptors.

Kobe needs to score. If you didn't notice, Atkins had 7 assists. What am I getting to? Atkins played like a true PG...and that's exactly what we need to win games, along with Kobe getting his and everyone playing defense.

The injury may have been bad...I saw it after the game...but the next Laker game is Sunday against the Nuggets, so hopefully he heals up by then. It's a long rest.

^Yes, I know Kobe needs to score. But other guys, like Lamar, need to take more shots.

Come on, you know Lamar needs more than 9 shots.

Sure, Lamar needs more than 9 attempts a game...but not if he's going to take 20 foot jumpers every time.

Lamar needs to attack the basket more. As long as he keeps wandering around the perimeter and trying to take a long range jumper, he's not going to get his shots.

He's playing like an SF, really...when he should be posting up. I know that's not his natural position, but that's where we have him...at the four...and we can't do much about that.

The Whole 3rd quarter Rudy T. Was running the offense through Odom and Odom was doing more than his stats showed...he was causing a lot of good things...he was attacking the basket more and also he was drawing the loose double team opening other players up.

Very good game for the lakers.

Lamar needs to stay out of foul trouble..then his shot attempts will go up.

When Atkins plays like a true pg, Kobe hits shots. We saw that last night. I hope we see some more of it. I have confidence in Caron Butler that he can start playing consistent ball also. If Lamar isn't going to step up...move on to the next person..that would be Caron
