I think he could have done that James dunk where he jumped mad high and the ball was like on top of the backboard. Kobe didn't need to have a runing start he just jumped from one place.

Wow....that's some hops right there. And currently, I can't think of several other dozen players in the league that could do that. Maybe a dozen or so, but not that many.

Yea..that is major air...I can only think of 3 players off of my head that can jump like that: LeBron, J rich, and Fred Jones (maybe)

They listed Kobe at 6'7" a couple seasons back...and then, this year, they have him down as 6'6"...so who knows.
is it working for anyone else? I know which play ur talking about tho, he did get very high. he also had a rebound attempt vs the raps where he got high also.
Man, that's insane. But if some one can caption a clip of LeBron's dunk @ Charlotte. My god, that was humanly impossible, his head was leveled or above the rim, and his finger tips were nearly leveled with the top of the backboard. That kid is scary.

Only thing that might of been negetive in your eyes is how i said he shouldnt of gone after it, knowing it would be a field goal. I think i'm 100% right, he's a smart guy, he knew that even if he hit his ass on the rim he was still gunna get the goaltending, of course the shots on the way down at you when you're under the rim. He might of just been doing it to prove he could, but thats not what you want from your star. That doesnt help you win games. But i cant see exactly where he is under the court, he might of had a better chance at it, but from this angle it looks pretty hopeless anyways, here are some of the guys that i think could do that. J-Rich, Lebron, F. Jones, G. Wallace, Tracy Macgrady*, Vince Carter(still bet he can) Quinten Richardson, Francis**, Chris Anderson***, Stromile Swift ok maybe not "a few dozen" like i said. But i think all these guys have a chance at it. Alot more players could hit there head on the rim but these are the guys that do it through jumping ability rather than height. * Macgrady actually had a better one when he was still a raptor, he was about 5 feet out from the basket and went up from a stand still and grabbed a shot in mid air, and brought it down with him. Damndist thing i ever saw, he got called for the goaltending just because the refs were stunned, figured it had to be. But on replay it wasnt, he just got mad high, VERY quickly **Francis might not be able to jump that hight, but he's also alot shorter ***Alot taller than Kobe, so not as impressive, but he could do it
