<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DerfZ:</div><div class="quote_post">uh... isnt always aggressive?</div> I'll agree. If Bosh was more aggressive every game, I think the Raptors' organization would be looking at a future Amare Stoudemire. Even though I did agree...I'll post a negative. Bosh needs to work on his ball handling. If he had more control of the ball, he would be able to attack the basket more frequently, and as you said, be more aggressive as well.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">uh... isnt always aggressive?</div> I think he's aggressive, but his post moves are limited. When he his moves fail he ends up turning the ball over. He needs to find more way to post up on the opposition down low.
I think that he needs to work on his jumper so he can add that to his shot selection. If he can do that he will really start getting the ball more which means more points.

His problem is that he isn't big enough and physically/mentally strong enough. When he tries to do a post move, he loses control on the ball becuase the defenders are big and are like walls when they guard him. He's more of a Young Chris Webber type of player without the post skills, and left handed. He needs to get stronger, and improve his ball handling. I don't think this thread is a good idea, because it's like your bashing the guy. He's only 20 and improving. It's unfair to pick on him at this stage of his career. Give him time to develop first.

Age shouldn't matter, either...the point is to be able to express your star player's negatives, and at the same time, be grateful for his positives outweighing his negatives.
too bad you couldnt have made this thread earlier when we still had Wince.... there wouldve been alot more replies
Haha so true, everyone loves to hate Vince, it's like a past time for people now. He's not agressive in rebounding is something I see from him, he's athletic and long, but doesn't grab as many rebounds as you'd expect him to. One of his biggest flaws is his strenght, if another athletic big man plays him tight, he get's into trouble, he drives into walls, and has trouble shooting over hard pressure.
His free throw shooting has to improve, he can get to the line so many times but only hits around 60 percent. He also needs a more consistent 15-18 footer.
When he rebounds, he relies on his athletic ability. He doesn't box out an make it easier for himself. I noticed that a lot in the game with GS.
He needs consistency on the free throw line. He fails to cash in at opportune times during tight games. We NEED him to make those freebies.
I think Chris' biggest negative is his lack of confidence. Everyone knows how athletic he is, but he doesn't have the confidence in his abilities to just play. It seems like he is always thinking about what he should do next, instead of letting instict take over. When he believes he's as good as KG, he can be.
lateral quicks....when he drives against players smaller then him...he loses the ball way too often...and o yea..to stop dribbling like a pg...he crossesover too much...if he had more strength that shouldnt be a problem...
