The biggest problem with Lebron's game is his lack of moves off the dribble. For his size he's a great ballhandler, but doesn't have the half-court dribble craftiness of a kobe bryant or paul pierce. (in the half court) He only penetrates off of screen-rolls and the occasional bully ball. Luckily, he's bigger, stronger, faster, and more explosive than pretty much everybody that has the misfortune of trying to guard him.

I think he could improve his jumpshot and work on his 3 point shot.

Looking at his stat page on 82games.com, 66% of LeBron's shot attempts have been jump shots, and he has a 38.3% effective fg% on those, which isn't particularly good. But what's amazing is his percentage on his inside shots (layups, dunks, shots in the paint, etc) where he shoots a blistering 76%! LeBron has amazing body control, strength, and athleticism and that makes him virtually impossible to stop when he gets close to the basket. For comparison, Kobe shoots 57% on his inside shots, Wade shoots 61% on his inside shots, and McGrady shoots 59% on inside shots.

So, as far as his scoring, his jumper is definitely the thing he should work on. I think sometimes he takes bad shots from 20 feet out, and he should try to minimize that. Over the summer, I felt that LeBron needed to really work on his post up game, and I've seen him successfully post up a lot more this year. I'd like him to continue to develop that part of his game.

    Bron

The only real negative I see with 'Bron is that he sometimes slacks off on defense [IMG] after he makes a poor play or is upset with a call. Its somethings that almost all young players do and even some of the more seasoned veterans do it but I think he will grow out of it. Other than that expirience is the only thing he lacks and that will come with time. Ladies and Gentleman of JBB take advantage of the oppertunity to see Lebron play becuase when all is said and done he will be on of the top 10 players in NBA history. [IMG]
