[*]Kobe has no friends in the league
[*]Kobe passes too much in mid-air

Wow, surprsing to see this coming from Real but I guess it's the point of the thread so....I agree with them all, and I'm sort of starting to lean into the second last one as well but you could credit that due to him being a lot more fatigued then the average superstar at the end of games since he plays and does everything on this team (which is a really bad thing).

For the friends negative, I think he does have a few friends in this league so it should be chanegd to "barely any friends", rather then "no friends". Hey, atleast we all know they all respect him as a ball player.

To add to the list of negatives:

    - Outside of Kobe fans and Laker fans, the rest of the world pretty much hates him.
    - He doesn't know how to talk to the media and makes situations harder on himself

Hey, I think having too much talent can be a negative, seriously, he's so good that he thinks he can do more than he's capable of, you know. Having too much talent is not really the negative in itself in terms of it being a bad thing, just that it makes him overconfident in his abilities because he is that good.

Don't be surprised. I just figured those negatives would show up some way or another, so I listed them before others got the chance to. [IMG]

Even though Kobe is averaging a nice amount of assist he could be averaging more. Like it's been stated he does shoot the ball in double teams regardless at times. He can't quite establish Lamar as the consistent 2nd man in the offense. So in turn that would make Kobe's job easier and he'd have better shots to take and finally start shooting over 40% then under. It isn't that great getting 40+ points and still shooting far under 50%. That's his biggest negative, bad shot selection.

Just to add to that Kobe/Shaq comment, it works both ways. I rarely defend Kobe (actually never [IMG] ) however it's a two way street and neither player respects each other.

Kobe Bryant is marvelous, but he has a me-first attitude.

He's too cocky, needs to chill with the ego, and tries to take over down the stretch and make impossible shots when he has an open teammate.

    Negative:

I Think he focuses himself too much, and tries to put too much on him when it comes to winning games for the Lakers. If he continues to do this,it will have a negative impact on the team when he is putting pressure on himself to win,and when he does this and it comes to a head, his playing will suffer which means the Lakers suffer as well.

^I disagree, it's his job to take over late in the Laker games. Although I do partially agree, he needs to use Lamar Odom more down the stretch, even though it isn't entirely his fault. He does pass to him, but it could be more often.

Negative: He will never be as good of a shooter as Tracy McGrady. [IMG] [IMG]

Kobe's the best player on the team, and you always want your best player to live and die with the team down the stretch when you need critical buckets in a ballgame. His ego and cockiness isn't anything more than of a Steve Francis, Tracy McGrady, Shaquille O'Neal, or any other superstar with amazing God given talent.
