The Portland Trail Blazers waived center Vladimir Stepania.

The 7-foot, 244-pound Stepania saw action in one 2004-05 pre-season game, scoring 11 points and grabbing seven rebounds in only 15 minutes of action on October 27th vs. Toronto, before being placed on the Injured List.

Here we could get a big man that has a decent touch around the basket, plus rebounding. We always need more since Robinson and Davis could be trade bait. He's not known as a shotblocker but he's a decent pickup considering he's the best FA center out there now.

You are all about the Euros aren't you? haha. I have never watched this kid play so I cant tell you if we should pick him up or not. It would be nice to have someone over 6-10. That being said, I would not mind taking a look at him, but if we signed him we would have to get rid of someone. Who would that be? Most likely Flores. I dont see Mullin getting rid of Flores since he was one of the players he was most excited about in the Damp deal...
