.500 and playoff position here we come! What a way to close out a somewhat satisfying year of 2004 behind strong performances from McGrady and Taylor! David Wesley is helping the team, but I still have to raise this question: Is he an improvement over Jim Jackson? While some are knocking JJ about his three-point shooting, Wesley isn't shooting well either.
Great game for McGrady. He really should be showing this kind of game more consistently, but nevertheless, nice win for the Rockets. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I felt good from the start," McGrady said, "I wanted to be aggressive since Yao was out"</div> - from ESPN But shouldn't he be aggressive every single game? Anyways, they are finally at .500 for wins, and hopefully, for the new year, we'll win some more games. Everyone came out and played well tonight with Yao out. Jon Barry is showing some nice role player potential hitting those open threes. David Wesley however, had a horrible shooting night. On the other hand, he dished out a bunch of assists, so you really have to commend him for that. But really, they should be doing this more even when Yao is in the game. Good Luck to the Rockets for 2005.
Jon Berry did an awesome job. I was amazed. He did one mistake that I was watching. No one came to help him when he let Jones (I believe) drive right by him on the strong side. Westley did a great job with assist that always helps.
