What would be your early season all-nba teams? All NBA First team: PG:Allen Iverson SG:Kobe SF:Kevin Garnett PF:Tim Duncan C:Shaq I think the first team was kind of the same and obvious except that Tmac's having a horrible year, and i think AI's deserves to be there. Second team: PGwayne Wade SG:Tmac SF:Lebron PF:Amare C:Yao Okok, I know you people are gonna bash me for putting Lebron on the second team and AI on the first team. But the fact that AI had to carry the Sixers for the most part of the season is impressivel. Lebron's been getting help from big Z, who's having a really good early, Gooden, and McIness, don't get me wrong. This can be a toss up, but i chose Iverson because he's my favorite player. But if the Cavs go far into the playoffs later in the season, then I would have to give him the first team. Rookie: PG:Gordon SG:Iguodala SFeng PFwight C:Emeka Ok, I think the rookies are a little obvious
If we are judging based on this years performance, here is mine: First Team PG- Steve Nash SG- Kobe Bryant SF- LeBron James PF- Kevin Garnett C- Tim Duncan Second Team PG- Dwayne Wade SG- Allen Iverson SF- Shawn Marion PF- Amare Stoudemire C- Dirk Nowitzki Honorable Mention Steve Francis Ray Allen Tracy McGrady Brad Miller Shaq O'Neal Rookie Team PG- Devin Harris SG- Ben Gordon SF- Luol Deng PF- Dwight Howard C- Emeka Okafor
Jeez.....totally forgot about Steve Nash, I dont agree with Shaq being on honorable mention, he's the reason why the heat's been so good. I know he's not putting up good numbers. I wouldn't put Dirk at center cuz Damp pllays center for them. Iguodala's definitely been doing better than Devin Harris, in every category. Matt Bonner I have not heard much about him but I believe he's a big man and theres Emeka and Dwight and I'm sure Bonner is not better them two

Quote:

I dont agree with Shaq being on honorable mention, he's the reason why the heat's been so good.
I am going to disagree here. Without Dwayne Wade, this team would currently be nowhere. Sure, Shaq has made a definate impact, but without Wade there is no way Miami's on top of the East.
Quote:

Iguodala's definitely been doing better than Devin Harris, in every category.
Well, I am not going to disagree with that, but Iguodala doesn't play point guard. I am putting together a real team here.
Does the rookie or the nba team has to be a real team? No, it's just that last year there happen to be a point guard in Hinrich and he was a top 5 rookie. Last year's all NBA team wasn't a real team as they had Shaq, Duncan, Garnett,Kobe, Tmac. Were kobe and tmac PG's last year? No. 2002-2003's third team had stephon and steve nash on the same team, they're both pg's. They also had Mashburn and Pierce on that team, which are both sf's. So no ift doesn't have to be a real team.Ok let's compare Iguodala and Devin Harris. Harris is aveaging 6.6 points, 1 rebound, 2.2 assists.shooting 38 percent. Iguodala is aveaging 9 points, 5 rebounds, 2.6 assists, shooting 46 percent. AND he has better defense by far. Oh yea Iguodala is also 8th in hte league in steals per game. So i don't reallyl know what you're talking about when you say Harris is better than Iguodala. Edit: Oops, sorry I thought you said I'm going to disagree with that for Iguodala is better than Harris in every category.
I never said the official teams have to be a real team by position, I said that is how I am going to do it.
