yeah but the nets are 1-2 since the nets welcomed vinsanity, and plus he's already had injury problems.

well yeah but he's taking more shots, getting more P/T and still getting torched by the bruce bowens of the league. his fg% is horrendous, thats probably the defining stat above all else

After all Carter has done for you in Toronto I think you shouldn't repay him like that. From what I was told from Raptors fans in this site, that Toronto was not eve runnning plays for him and his points per game went down. Right now, Carter is the second option to Richard Jefferson in as much as he takes more shots than him so far. Carter is also playing in an offensively limited Nets team so ofcourse his scoring will go down. Also in Toronto new acquisitions like Rafer Alston took away some of Vince Carter's shots. I think he this year in Toronto, he has not played maybe to the best of his abilities but, I don't see how you can betray the many other years he was in Toronto. Great player, put fans in their seats and definitely gave people in Toronto their money's worth. If not more. Carter was frusturated because of his lack of his success in his career so he needed a change of scenery. To call Vince a coward and a wimp I think is ungrateful of you.

i agree with you and this statement that those shots at carter was uncalled for...but any NBA fan could see that VC didn't want to be a leader of the Raptors, he basically showed up for his 48mins and that was it, he didn't try to pull the team and take leadership like a true veteran...

and by no mean am i playa hating on VC, but every player on the raps looked up to VC and they all know his ability, but he didn't want to take that role on as he already had his agenda to change his scenery...

as raptor fans, the majority would be greatful of the ambasador that VC was to toronto, but it was a bitter end though, it should have finished more classy than it did, but all the best to VC and thanks for all the excitment you brought to the Toronto Raptor Franchise...

whats so much to laugh about mrj18 when every single word was true? vince carter was the head of the toronto raptors franchise. here in iceland when someone thinks of toronto they think of vince carter. he brought u the best things this franchise has seen. and now because they weren't throwin the ball to him and his ppg goes down u just throw him away like any other garbage. this is like if the bulls would have thrown away jordan(except jordan was a thousand times better but they both were the heads of the franchises) so wat i'm sayin don't disrespect VC just because he is the greatest player ever to play on the raptors(when hakeem the dream played for u he was way out of his prime so don't try to say him). so i hope u have gotten my point.

i wouldn't agree with being a coward and wimp...but playing with no heart for the game sounds about right...he just didn't look interested on the floor...and please about the garbage that they didn't run plays for him...when he had the ball, he didn't want to drive and use his GOD given ability to take it to hole...

VC DIDN'T WANT TO BE in TORONTO anymore, plain and simple...now this never takes away from what he brought to our team and city, but we can only wonder 'what if' our team with VC gelled together with heart and passion for the game as a total unit, damn that would have been exciting....
