Last years Rasheed Wallace trade to the Pistons was the biggest in the middle of the season... Who will be in a big trade this season before the year is over?
It's a little early to tell but possibly a team getting Jason Kidd in a trade, such as the Lakers or the Mavs to put them over the top. Maybe a Shareef Abdur-Rahim deal will happen but it won't impact a team as much as Jason Kidd. Those are really the big names on the block so far, I have been hearing these Baron Davis to the Clippers rumors but I think thats all they are, rumors. A couple of other guys that seem to be on the block that might spark a team into the playoff run are Antonie Walker (rumored to the Knicks), Jalen Rose (rumored to the Heat), and Samuel Dalembert (rumored to be interested by the Sonics/Suns/Mavs). But, Billy King (Sixers GM) seems to not be interested in trading Dalembert though.
I think there will definately be a big trade during the middle of the season, and it will be Baron Davis, Jason Kidd, or Gary Payton. Davis- We can pretty much just say that the Hornets should start re-building, because what they have now is obviously not working. Getting rid of Davis would give them a lot of freedom to pretty much start fresh, and also get what I consider a bad influence off the team. Kidd- He has already expressed that he wants to be traded, and I don't think the addition of Vince Carter is going to change his mind all that much. Payton- Rumors are swirling around about him going to Dallas, and I think if Cuban really wants him, he will find a way to get The Glove into Texas.
na i dont think kidd would want to be traded rite now. him and carter are doing very well together so far
Jason Kidd is NOT going anywhere during the season. Why would a playoff team give the Nets KEY PLAYERS for a point guard who hasn't FULLY recovered from knee surgery? Why would Rod Thron, or even Bruce Rattner, want to give up Kidd for LESS NOW when they can make the playoffs this year? And I really do believe that Rod Thron has some tricks up his sleeves for this off-season.
Detroit will want to get rid of Rasheed because he is getting old and want someone in replace. I think Samuel Delembert and someone for him.
i think that allen iverson might be traded to the west for probably two people and maybe a draft pick....allen iverson might even accept it too....if he goes to the west i think that he should go to the Warriors for Eduardo Najera and Adonal Foyle....but that doesnt really seem like a fair trade though, does it?

You are kidding, right? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Cash-Money:</div><div class="quote_post">Detroit will want to get rid of Rasheed because he is getting old and want someone in replace. ^^I have to agree. There's little to no chance that Dumars sends Sheed anywhere. Over the last 6 games, Sheed has been playing more of a presence in the paint for the Pistons and the results have been obvious. Dalembert is a nice young talent who might someday get to Sheed's level, but that's likely quite a ways off, if he ever gets there at all. Right now, Sheed's the factor that puts Detriot over the top as the favorite to emerge out of the East and a consideerable factor in the Pistons being able to not only defend, but score against what will likely be a larger West coast team in the Finals. Detriot should want to try to maximize thier opportunities with the talent they have right now, with one championship already under thier belt. Sending Sheed out of town would cause a considerable hit to those aspirations, IMO.

Kidd / BD After taking such a big cap hit to get Carter I can't see the financially strained nets trading Kidd. On the other hand I cant see BD staying in New Orleans the rest of the season. He wanted to be traded last offseason and it never happaned. With N.O. stinkin up the league now he will be gone by the trading deadline.
