You could make a case for Desmond Howard as a receiver, but he really did turn into a solid return man in the NFL. He was a major contributer to the Packers when he was with them. Superbowl MVP, no less...
The Sports list on FSN had a similar countdown. What Struck me was that the jets had 2; Blair Thomas & Johnny 'Lam' Jones.
Jamal Reynolds anyone? The Pack invested a lot of money into him, and used the no.10 pick on him. They thought he was going to be the next Reggie White, but never amassed to anything.
As long as we are on this note, what happened to Bryan Thomas? The Jets used the 22nd overall pick in the 2002 draft on the DE from UAB. I remember asking myself what the hell they must have been thinking while watching it. I have never even heard his name called since. Someone with more Jets knowledge please enlighten me on how his performance has been.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Jamal Reynolds anyone?</div> Yes... Horrible, HORRIBLE mistake! The Pack gave up a lot to trade up to take him and he turned out to be nothing... Good call.
