I never thought he was that bad of a GM at all. He made some really good moves. He traded for Ron Artest and Brad Miller and drafted Al Harrington and Fred Jones. He brought in Mark Agguire to be an assistant, which helped our young guys like JO develop. He was building something in Indy.

BUT, he didn't have a clue as a head coach. Now he has something to prove, he's going to turn around the Garden, blah blah blah. He has an owner who doesn't know a thing about anything basketball related and all of a sudden says "YES!" to every move, while in Indy, Donnie Walsh didn't let things get out off control.

Isiah as a GM working with someone would be ideal, but he's not going back to that again. They just let him do whatever he feels over on 34th St.
