yup i hope nets win and get into the playoff picture soon becuz they cannot just win 1 game den lose the next game everytime
Last 2 lost game we against Wizards, we have Zo and E.Will, and without Kidd and Carter, but now we have them. We are really lucky, because Scalabrine is injured, Krstic can get in start lineup, then we have seen how amazing he is. I think we can win the game, lead b 5-8 pts. Go Nets ! Playoff !
Jamison is going to be an extremely difficult cover. His inside/out verstility is going to be a major problem from Krstic to handle. I dont really know how we will contain him. I think Coach Franks going to use the 4 guard lineup that has been successful so far, alot again against the Wizards. Kidd-Buford-Vince-RJ-and a big, is a lineup I expect to see on the floor alot together to counter Washington's ablity to score. So we can generate a bit of offense of our own. Our tranisition game looks strong & stronger with each passing game. So hopefully we can get out in the opencourt and generate some easy baskets. But that willl require a strong team rebounding game to keep Jamison and Haywood off the offsensive board. Anyway, this is a winnable game for us. But with the way our offense has swung up & down all season, you never really know. I think we will have to get to 95 points to win this game. BTW, I edited your preview a bit Streetball2k5, nothing big you just had the Fleet Center as where the game would be played. The Fleet Center is the home of the Celtics, the Wiz play at the MCI center so I changed it. Nice Work tho....
One month ago this was a very winnable game for the Wizards, but with an improved Nets team this should be a really good game, I am still sticking with my team though by atleast 3.

Yeah, 8/14 so far, that's not too shabby at all. Vince is playing great, 31 points, 7 boards. Jefferson has been the weak link tonight though, 13 points on 5/15 shooting. Btw, the score is 103-88 Wiz, Late 4th.
I thought that the Nets had the game mid-way through the third quarter, but they seemed to just run out of gas. They have to play consistently all game long. There is simply no other way that they can defeat strong (but beatable) teams like the Wizards. I have confidence that Frank will figure out what to do to defend those deadly threes and prevent all of those needless turnover commited by every player on the Nets. The only positive that I saw was that the Net's rebounding was not what lost the game (the out rebounded the Wiz 39-38). What else is there to do but to wait for the next game.
I don't think it's running out of gas as much as the Wizards getting extremely hot from the 3. They were hitting contested threes as if they were layups. The Nets just then gave up and conceeded the game to them. The bench is going to need to play better the next game if we want to win.
Wizards' Three Pointer is so crazy~ we got 2 pts they got 3 pts, how to catch up ? our backcourt really need score much together... Kidd and Carter score very much, but RJ can't score together...and Krstic could play more aggresively. It's hardly to be believed that we have leaded by 11 pts. in the 3rd quarter, wizards reversed the game.

Must of the scoring comes from Rodney tho...so anytime you have Rodney & RJ struggle in the same game you have to actually say we are lucky to even be in the game as competive as we were for the first three quarters, honestly. Anyway, I wasnt strongly watching this game in the 2nd half much of my attention was on the Suns at Minny game. I know Rj was in foul trouble alot early, he had like 3 personals in the 1st quarter. And they reported during the pre-game show that Rodney had a head cold or the flu, so thats why thos guys struggled. Iam shocked Jamison never got into the flow of the game on the Wizards side cause that was the one guy we really had no one to matchup with...but Larry Hughes ends up being the guy to tourch us. Wing players are really killing us right now, Rip in the Detriot game, Gordon in the Bulls game, and Larry Hughes tonight. Time for Vince and RJ to work a little harder on the Defensive end of the floor clearly.
Jamison has been a little cold, the problem with him is that he likes to take long jumpshots all day long. Hughes has been on fire lately, so I wasn't really surprised at his performance, but the Nets lack of depth is a big factor agaisnt a team like the Wizards who run the ball and have scorers off the bench. In games like these, the Nets will need big productions from the big three in order to have any chance of beating a team who in reality is just a better team because of total talent and depth.
