Wow that would be a great slam dunk competition. When do they announce who is going to compete in it? If they ever do. They announce the starters of the All-star game on Feb 3rd.
Josh Smith would be a very, very good competetor in the dunk contest. Have you seen him play, and the ups he has? It's plain crazy. That would be a dream contest for this season. It won't happen, you know it won't. They'll choose Jones because he's the defending champion, and then some crappy participants.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Player4Ever:</div><div class="quote_post">VC is not going to be there, This year Iguodala is going to win slam dunk contest</div> The Lord has spoken!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting mustafa_shakur:</div><div class="quote_post">I could see JR winning one for sure, as long as the likes of LeBron aren't there.</div> i agree Dont sleep on JR
Is JR Smith the one who first jumped hit the ball under the backboard from the left and in the same leap dunked it from the right side in last years all-american HS DC? If so he's the man. But after seeing the most explosive 16 points from Josh Smith last night hmm. Iguodala is nice but on the real my pick is still Lebron. Even though I guess most people don't think he will do anything creative I feel that he can. Like doing his sig dunk of the one hand to the side tomahawk from the freethrow line.
dam if carter comes bak in dunk contest itll be madd hott and also lebron and francis in same contest that cud be one of the best slam dunk conest ever!!!!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting flash2diesel2k5:</div><div class="quote_post">Fred Jones is the most overrated dunker in NBA History</div> Dude, I definitely agree with you on this. Plus I hate how all of a sudden everyone is on JR Smith's nuts. I think alot I people forgot about a guy with a funny last name playing in Philly who can literally touch the the top of the background with a ridiculous wingspan.
why would he want them to be in the dunk contest. he doesnt stand a chance against them.if those guys r goin to be in the contest then good luck fred jones
Travis Outlaw can touch the top of the backboard hes a guy I want to see in a Dunk Contest he plays for the Blazers.
Yeah but the reason Outlaw has no chance of being in it, is because no one nows who he is or has ever seen him play period.
