I certainly hope the Lakers play well tonite and put up a good fight. However, with the Orange Bowl on at the same time tonite, I'm pretty sure most of L.A. will not see this game (including myself). Good thing it's a road game, because that would've been a waste of home court. This is a game where Kobe will need to trust his teammates, and they need to step up like they did up at Arco ... that's the lakers only chance at this game <div class="quote_poster">Quoting YugoRocketsfan:</div><div class="quote_post">I think most of the field goals that kobe attempts are going to be either blocked, missed, or even sometimes made,</div> I think that's a safe bet that at least one of those three will happen when he shoots it .
Haha you laker fans are the most inconsistent fans in the world, saying the lakers are going to beat the spurs thats like saying the hornets are going to beat the miami heat, which will never happen.

^I was wondering the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's because he just got off an injury and now he's not playing well, I think he's just rusty.. we prolly just need to wait. Maybe he's not doing good at all in team practices or something.

A herniated disk isn't something to mess around with...and I still don't think he's ready to come back. I supported him coming here, but I didn't think he was going to bust his back.

The Bobcats have beat the Rockets twice this season already? Edit: Yeah I was talking about Vlade... my browser went offline for a few minutes on accident, so the last post it showed was that.
Yeah i know the bob cats beat us and remember when we lost to the bulls 92-84 oh wait that was the lakers my bad
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YugoRocketsfan:</div><div class="quote_post">I think most of the field goals that kobe attempts are going to be either blocked, missed, or even sometimes mad, and plus how come lakers dont let divac play for a couple of minutes they treat him like darko milicic cept worse</div> You are starting to make no sense what-so-ever...well duh most of Kobe's field goald will be missed or made..that is the only thing they can do last time I checked... Vlade's back is still sore too, and he has gotten minutes..unlike Darko..don't compare them
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YugoRocketsfan:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah i know the bob cats beat us and remember when we lost to the bulls 92-84 oh wait that was the lakers my bad</div> Exactly. So why are you in here, again? Talk about the game, or don't talk at all. When you criticize fans for being "inconsistent" or whatever you said, you're steering away from the topic. PM me if you have something personal to say about the matter. By the way, the Bulls also beat Cleveland, Minnesota, Memphis, Detroit and Orlando...big deal.
Oh nuthin i just dont agree about the lakers beating the spurs, Spurs are the best team in the southwest division (one of the strongest divisions in the league) and also thats all i gotta say.<strike>Also to add yall lost to memphis</strike> <font size="1"><font color="Red">I told you already...stop the baiting. -Brandon</font></font>

It isnt a fluke. Just trying to clear stuff up. If it didnt keep banging.

I am Yugoslavian you can never name us after bears , so what do i call you Mr. Bush, i may live in U.S but i hate the president just to say it so anyways thats all i gotta say until someone says something. Also yall lost to memphis grizzlies twice!
Actually, a lot of us think the Spurs are the best team in the league. It doesn't mean we want them to win, or think they will. <font size="1"><font color="Red">Content edited. No baiting. -Brandon</font></font>

Ok so we wont use any of that know lets talk about the game. What time is the game anyway cause i feel like watching it
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting YugoRocketsfan:</div><div class="quote_post">Ok so we wont use any of that know lets talk about the game. What time is the game anyway cause i feel like watching it</div> It's in the preview...5:30 PM PT, 8:30 PM ET.
Brent Barry and Bruce Bowen...good lord. Kobe is cold tonight...if he doesn't find his shot for the second half, this game is over...because nobody in a Laker jersey is doing ANYTHING tonight. EDIT: Did anyone else hear that Caron has the flu? Why is he even in the game?
I heard about the flu, and I don't know why he's in the game either. But he's doing okay, except he missed one of two only free-throws. Kobe is 3-10 right now, he'd be doing a lot better, but he's missing all his three's right so far. He'll warm up and make some good shots down the stretch, but unless we can find some miraculous comeback with about 10 three pointers added to that then this game is done. Man... I want league pass. I hate staring at some stat sheet from NBA.com when it's on TV right now.
