    Schumacher donated 10 Million in part because he had a friend/crew member or something that died in asia.

    I would like to see more NBA players do this, or something similar, instead of all the players from one agency.

    Come on! You damn well know that Southeast Asia is FAR from having the wealth the Western world has. That's the first thing. Second, even if 9/11 was a tragedy - an abomination - it is a small event in comparison to at LEAST 150,000 people dead, millions displaced and without homes, with infections and diseases rampant in their devastated lands. I think it's outrageous to take advantage of such a tragedy to consider and compare the donations made during two VERY different events - any donation makes a difference, and until we know firsthand what it's like to get flooded out of our homes with such a violence, we have nothing to say about what's happening. We can only hope to help through donations - it's inappropriate to be criticizing any kind of relief effort at this time, in the midst of their intervention.
