Do you think that someone from israei can play in the NBA ?

I can say that Lior Elyahu can play in the best league in the world.
he is 19 years old, play in Galil Elion
he and his team play in the Europleague (Fiba) - he is in the top scores.
some scouters from NBA cime to see him.

    Your opinion ?

Another guy from Israel? Cool, nice to meet you. Where do you live? Anyway, I'm guessing you're ANOTHER Maccabi fan...nobody has any respect for Hapoel Jerusalem these days anymore. Anyway, if you're talking about Israeli players, you can't forget Amit Tamir. Or David Bluthental.

He's pretty good, he could probably make it into the NBA, but he wouldn't be a star player.

    Lior Elyahu

From what i've seen out of Lior Elyahu I think he can definetly play in the NBA. This is a sign of the growing level of play for basketball in Israel to the point at which players trying to get noticed after being cut from the NBA are going there (example: Khalid el Amin from the 1999 UConn team played in Israel for a while.).
I think it is great and I hope the development continues.
