Webber would have been great but, there really is not any substance to this rumor. But, again Webber would get Sweetney locked up on the bench. So, what if he played center? What would that do to Mohammed. Basically the Knicks had their chance up in 2001 but, he signed with Sacremento. If he did sign with us, we could have been a real force in the NBA and could possibly won a championship. I really see this article being something the media just had to write because of lack of news.

true, true i also believe this article could have been wtritten due to lack of information in the nba today concerning trades with the trade deadlin approaching so rapidly.

though i believe webber could help the knicks by giving them some more frontcourt help for there inside. as for webber playing center i think that would be a great move for the knicks though i dont know how nazr would react considering how hard he has been working.

So i believe it would be best for webber to play power forward with nazr. i believe they could be a force to reckoned with in the east and the L period.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think the Knicks will do a whole lot better with Webber... but the Kings should do way better.

Last season the kings were doing better without Webber than with, i'm not sure about this season though.

I read the report on Webber and it said to get him we would have to give up Kurt Thomas,TT,Sweetney, and Jamal. I don't think all those players are worth it. Also there is no way Isiah is going to trade Jamal this fast.

With his athleteism today, Webber can't defend well. He gets beat almost every time that someone goes to the basket. His offense is marvelous, but that is not what the Knicks need at the moment. Thier offense is adequate, but thier defense is what is loosing games for them.

I heard about this trade scenario before the season began I dont know if anyone else heard of it. It was Allan Houston-Kurt Thomas for Chris Webber-Doug Christie. Kings gain interior defense and someone who can shoot the lights out with Peja. Knicks gain perimeter defense and more offense from the low post. Not sure if I like it though and I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen. But who knows?

Houston going would only really leave Crawford as a 3pt shooter. I dont see giving up Houston as being a good option at all.
