<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Billa_Bong:</div><div class="quote_post">The world has pledged 6 billion dollars to that area....ask yourself how much there buildings and such is worth was it worth even a billion dollars.

I know it is a very sad event but I think people need to stop look at people and asking did you donate or that isn't enough because the world has aided and given more money to these areas than they have ever seen. They towns that were destroyed and the lifes are now all going to be rebuilt to 1000 times better than they were before is it good yes of course it raises living conditions for everyone, but I think the world has aided this disaster and now we need to get rebuilding and stop collecting.

I am not saying the 6 billion pledged is not enough make up for the 150,000 lifes lost because human life is worth everything and no amount of money can make up for it, but it comes a time when you have to stop filling the car with gas and start driving it....the time to start rebuilding is now.</div>

are you saying that the world has donated more than enough? those people were already suffering before that tsunami hit them. and now they just got devastated because of that tsunami. they need this money and maybe a whole lot more if you ask me.

are you kidding me? they are ten countries hit, the damages in Indonesia alone could top 2-3 billion, it's not just buildings, but their business properties as well. and it's not just the 150,000 life lost and their burial costs. It's about those other millions who basically got nothing now, no money no food, even no water. I bet each one of them would prefer committing a crime, be sent to prison for life and get those daily meals... at least that way they'll still live but of course you got others who've got lots of pride and prefered committing suicide instead... either way, that's hell.

No we need to take some action we are still stuck on the destruction....we need to take action and start using the money effectively and getting people in there getting those peoples lives back together.

Yeah I heard a funny one on the radio the other day...

"Kobe will be helping with rebuilding homes for the tsunami victims with all the bricks he's been shooting."

Kobe's damned is he does and damned is he doesn't.

**Also the Laker franchise will match any donation Kobe makes. [IMG]
